Earlier today Ninurta posted a link in Shoutbox to a YT video discussing a new temporary detention facility in the FL Everglades to be used for housing detained illegal aliens (yes, "aliens", of the illegal foreign national type.)  I don't call people or things something they are not just because somebody's feelz get hurt.  They're "illegal aliens", period.  Anyway, here is the link which Ninurta posted in Shoutbox earlier...

Alligator Alcatraz

I wanted to start a full blown RN post about this subject because I believe this is something which warrants larger discussion than just in Shoutbox.  Plus, it also deserves to be memorialized better.  So, with that, I offer the following...

First of all, I am very familiar with this facility for a number of reasons, and I've been familiar with it for a very long time.  In fact, I've been aware of this facility since it was originally built back in 1968.  The Airport known as the Dade County Training and Transition Airport was originally designed and intended to facilitate the operation of the SuperSonic Transport (or SST) as it was known back then.  Back in those days, long before the Concorde, both the US and Russia were working on prototype supersonic commercial airliners.  SST's are loud (very), and this was known at the time.  In fact, they were so loud that even aircraft developers and airlines realized they would not be allowed to operate out of conventional airports of the day.  There were also runway length considerations as SST's require a very long runway to take off due to their design.  The solution was to build an airport in the middle of nowhere, and this particular location was perfect for just such a thing.  The location is even remote today, but back then it was REALLY remote.  Today Miami has encroached on the Everglades from the east, and the Naples / Fort Meyers area from the west and the area is still remote, but not as remote as it used to be.

Back in the late 60's my parents had invested in property in Collier County, Marco Island to be exact.  When we flew down to FL commercially, we went into Miami and drove across Tamiami Trail to Marco.  Did this many, many, times in my youth.  Became very familiar with this stretch of road.  When the "Everglades Jetport" (as it was known then) was built it was kind of veiled in secrecy.  Secret stuff like this in the middle of nowhere always fascinated me, and I wanted to know more.  But information about this place was hard to find, and part of the reason was because there was a lot of environmental activist groups, even back then, who were trying to block its development.  This is partly because developers had begun to market the facility as "The Largest Airport in the World".  Along with this came much unwanted attention.

For probably two decades I was always waiting for this secret airport in the middle of nowhere in the Everglades to begin operations.  Instead, what I got was always just a glimpse of some giant chain link gates, closed and locked.  There was an airfield there, but there was nothing happening.  No planes, and no activity.  After a dozens of years I read that the big vision for the "SST" had been cancelled.  The Russian SST never really flew commercially and only a few prototypes were built.  In the US and Europe, the SST evolved into the Concorde.  Tickets on the Concorde turned out to be so outrageously expensive that very few were ever built, and those which were were allowed to operate out of a limited number of existing airports.  The 'World's Largest Airport' would never become a reality and was ultimately cancelled.  The chain link gates remained closed and locked until they became so overgrown you couldn't see beyond them.  Bummer.

Fast forward to the mid-1970's.  Although the front gates never opened, the airport was actually an operational airfield complete with an ILS instrument approach system.  Airlines such as Eastern Airlines and Pan Am realized this facility might be great to be used as a training facility for 747 pilots to practice instrument landings, so while the airport wasn't open to the public it was open to airmen and airlines.  Using the facility as a training airport took the operational and traffic pressure off of other airports like Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.  And this is pretty much how the airport operated and existed until the late 90's when full-motion simulators largely replaced actual flight time for many airline pilots.  Since then the facilities have been used for permit only General Aviation (GA) operations.

Fast forwarding to today, now they're looking at this airfield to use as a US based Guantanamo Bay of sorts to house illegals many of whom are just as bad as terrorists when you think about it.  The video talks about the place being guarded by alligators and pythons, and they interview environmentalists who were quick on the case.  Habitat for alligators I could maybe see, but last time I checked pythons, depending on the type, were either invasive species (wiping out all the birds), or undesirable nuisances at a minimum.  In any case, pythons are certainly not on the endangered list, or even threatened.  More lies and liberal BS at work.  Smokescreens to cut these fking illegals loose to poison our society and terrorize or kill our citizens.

Personally, I think the proposed use is an excellent idea.  Little 'real' risk of any environmental threat; these people are going to be housed in tents on the pavement until they get deported out of our country.  Good!  Life sucks, and then you get deported to some shithole you came from.  Good riddance!  I have exactly zero sympathy!  Just be glad for all the free stuff you got while you invaded our country, stole from our taxpayers, and ripped off from our citizens.  Can we maybe sell tickets to give these people a good swift kick in the nuts just before they get put on an airplane?  I'd stand in line for one of those tickets!  Might make a lot of money to pay down the debt.

And you know what, even better?  There's an airport right there.  No need to truck these losers to an airport and give all the liberals a chance to protest.  Just drag their illegal asses into the cargo hold and get 'em the fk outta' here...right after getting kicked in the nuts.  That's the memory of America they "should" have, not the satisfaction of getting to see a bunch of liberals crying their eyes out!  Get out, and slam the fk'ing door.

The Palace is said to be very unhappy with Starmer for handing the private invitation from the King to Trump for his visit to Balmoral , the visit was supposed to be to discuss a State visit not as part of a State visit , the King wasn't keen so early into Trumps term and with his statements about Canada Starmer has put the King (King of Canada) in a difficult position , Starmer must have known it was a private letter yet he used it as a stage prop.

If you're like me you've been closely glued to the developing events in Iran ever since the Trump administration took the decision to use bunker busting bombs against Iran's underground nuclear facilities.  Since the event, the commentary, kuddos, and condemnations have been freely flowing. However, I'm not here to advance any particular policy nor view of the events currently being debated, but rather, to point out a couple of very odd factoids and to do my usual Wile E. Coyote nosedive off of the twig of high octane speculation into the canyon below as to what it all might mean.

The first little factoid needs little to no explanation, because if you've been paying attention, it falls very quickly and easily into the "I told you so" box. According to this story shared by W.G. (with our gratitude), the usual "unspecified hackers" have apparently "drained" crypto-currency accounts in (you guessed it) Iran:

Now,  you'll have noted from the headline itself that these "unspecified hackers" are in fact from Israel, and that the crypto-accounts targets were allegedly those "used by terrorists".  So let us note the following things about this in relationship to the ever-evolving narrative about the security of crypto-currency. We started out the crypto-craze, you'll recall, with confident assertions of the fad's complete unhackability, utter privacy and security, and how it was all going to end central bank monopolies on money-issuance and control.  Then, gradually, the stories started to appear that this or that root system had been hacked, stories that were carefully reported (to draw an analogy to how the media likes to bury stories while pretending to report them) on page 4 at the bottom right hand in a story that ran two whole column inches, in the women's squash team sub-section of the sports pages, and right next to the daily jumble puzzle.

So much for all the claims about crypto-currencies. But I want to draw attention to another aspect of this story, one that illustrates what my principal concern all along has been, and it is a concern shared by Catherine Austin Fitts, and many other crypto-critics. The system itself is designed to be for the explicit purpose of a social credit and surveillance system. If you don't behave and like and support the things we, Mr. Globaloney, tell you to like and support, then we'll devalue, or even completely shut down, your money supply until you do. In this case, the nasty Iranian regime had accounts hacked by the Israeli regime. Just imagine what you could do with a whole network of computers being run by comprised systems all over the world (think PROMIS here) that are in charge of national "sovereign 'wealth'" funds that include family sponsored cryo-'currency' "assets".

And we can confidently predict the result of this Israeli hacktivity: For All Your Covert Operations Needs, Use Cash. If the Iranian regime was stupid enough to fund its terrorism activities via crypto-currency accounts then rest assured it is already reassessing that platform.

But there's an even larger picture looming behind the events in Iran. Already we've seen the Iranian crown prince recording videos asking the Iranian people to rise up and overthrow the regime. One senses a bit of deja vu in all of this: we're back in the 1950s, with the election of Mossadegh, and Iran's nationalization of the various British petroleum interests in that country. We all know the story: the Clowns in American in concert with Britain's MI-6 staged a coup, overthrew Mossadegh, and installed the Shah, Reza Pahlavi, back on the Peacock Throne, whose SAVAK secret police quickly established itself as a rival to the current Iranian regime for its inventive and creative brutality against its own people, leading, of course, to the conditions that created his overthrow.

There is, however, yet another thing that is not even being mentioned by the media in all of this - both pro- and anti- Israel/Iran, and it is something that should be front and center in the discussion.

Remember Moammar Qaddafi? The leader of Libya once reviled (rightly) as a sponsor of "state terrorism", who "turned the cheek" and decided to dismantle his country's support for terrorism and, incidentally, its own nuclear aspirations? He, too, was running an "Islamic state" based on the lack of usury and a central bank along the western model. Indeed, he was taking steps to establish a currency for Africa based on (here it comes), gold. And by the way, while we're at it, have you noticed all the neural linguistic programming going on lately with the root word "gold"? "Golden age", "golden era", "pure gold", "gold-backed crypto-currencies" etc, etc? [Golden Dome]

So in addition to all the deja vu over the current events in Iran and their similarities to events of merely a few decades ago, whatever the motivations of the deep "geopolifinance" of those events might be, you can add yet another: namely, that Iran "needs" a central bank that Mr. Globaloney controls so that it can "enter" the "community of nations" and live "peaceably" with its neighbours...

... while being plundered. The word from American history for this whole operation and technique is "reconstruction"(see my two books, The Rialto in Richmond, and The Rialto in Richmond Reconstructed). It's been updated a bit, and now includes the phrases "nation-building" and "regime change", but it's still reconstruction, and is still being done at the point of bayonets and bombs.

I'd like to take this opportunity to 'de-construct' the theme of some statements I've made lately.  ...

I have been severely critical of the USN and USAF for their ability to respond to smaller threats, and only responding by building bigger and more expensive naval and air assets.  I stand firmly by these statements.

Now, that said, what we have just seen happen in Iran are examples of exactly the opposite.  They are examples of heavy, and expensive, firepower.  I readily acknowledge this.  As we move forward, we are likely to see more of the same, up to and including carrier task forces moving up near, if not into, the Persian Gulf.  Let's examine this. ...

The heaviest boat the Iranian "Navy" has is FAR smaller than the smallest fleet capable USN asset.  What this means is, in order to defend these massive USN assets, you have to put other massive (and expensive) US assets out there to run interference (i.e. billion dollar destroyers, frigates, etc).  At best, the Iranian "navy" is patrol boats, BUT...they have LOTS of them, AND, they're expendable.  Not so with a US Naval asset, even the smallest ones.

Now, if the 'Rules of Engagement' weren't filled with all sorts of "touchy-feely feel good conditions" this might be a different post.  Then, the mantra might be to give notice, and then...."If it moves, even a little bit, then blow it to the F'king MOON from 50 miles away (i.e. over the horizon)!"  But those aren't the rules of engagement, and instead there are all these rules (which our enemies LOVE BTW (and hide behind), about preventing collateral civilian damage).  So, now we have billion dollar assets trying to defend themselves against fishing launches and small gunboats.  Where the odds should be decidedly lopsided, now they are even, or even in the enemy's favor (because our hands are tied 16 ways from Sunday).

Some small boats would fix this problem.  Engage, and if they resist, mark them, and then...BOOM!  Buh-bye!  

So, just to be clear; I was never pooping on heavy military assets (nor do I think I have ever suggested such).  I was only 'pooping' on our failure to size threat responses appropriately.

President Donald Trump on Friday called for a special counsel to investigate the 2020 election results and once more alleged fraud, after the FBI director disclosed this week that the Chinese regime may have conspired to influence the race.
While touting what he said were zero border crossings for the past month, Trump called for the Department of Justice to appoint a special prosecutor and investigate the 2020 election.
“The evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING. A Special Prosecutor must be appointed. This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America!” he wrote on social media platform Truth Social.
Trump’s post comes after FBI Director Kash Patel said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) allegedly conspired to mass-produce fabricated driver’s licenses as part of a ballot scheme during the 2020 contest.
“The FBI has located documents which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election, including allegations of interference by the CCP,” Patel said in a June 16 post on social media platform X. “I have immediately declassified the material and turned the documents over to [Chairman] Grassley for further review.” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Patel did not provide further details about the allegations surrounding the 2020 presidential election or about the CCP’s alleged interference. Grassley’s office told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement this week that he “is in receipt of an FBI document responsive to a request he made based on legally protected whistleblower disclosures.”

“The document alleges serious national security concerns that need to be fully investigated by the FBI,” said the statement, which also noted that Grassley is seeking further information from the FBI to verify the document’s production.
The intelligence information report originated from the agency’s Albany Field Office and dates back to September 2020, according to his office. Grassley also sent a letter on Tuesday that asked Patel for more information about how the September 2020 intelligence report was handled by the FBI at the time.
Patel also told Just the News earlier this week that the documents and report he provided to Grassley and his committee included “allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver’s licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots.”
He suggested that he considers the allegations to be “unsubstantiated” but noted that those claims “were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public.”
Democrat Joe Biden was declared the victor of the 2020 presidential election. Trump challenged the results in some states, alleging voter fraud, and has often said on social media and elsewhere that he was the rightful winner of the race against Biden.
About a month after that election, the Supreme Court in December 2020 rejected a Trump-backed bid filed by the state of Texas that sought to invalidate results in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Biden was certified as the winner of those states’ electoral votes. The high court ruled that Texas didn’t have legal standing to file the challenge against the other states.
In 2023, Trump was indicted by a former special counsel, Jack Smith, and by the district attorney’s office in Fulton County, Georgia, over allegations that he improperly sought to overturn the 2020 election results. Trump pleaded not guilty to the charges, and both cases were ultimately dropped.
Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, who is currently Trump’s CIA director, said in a 2021 letter to Congress that the CCP attempted to interfere in the 2020 election.

According to researchers the strange radio pulses were discovered using sensitive listening equipment attached to a balloon above the South Poll in the hunt for neutrinos , the signals they picked up would have had to travel through thousands of miles of rock to reach the surface , researchers believe the signals are not representative of neutrinos so what we have is a bit of a mystery.

Existing models, she explained, predict that pulses caused by neutrinos would originate from angles very far from 30 degrees under the surface. The new study provides further evidence that neutrinos are probably not involved.
Using complex mathematical models and simulations, the research team also ruled out noise and known particle interactions as sources of the signals. They even examined data from other experiments to see if they observed any interaction that could cause the pulses, to no avail.
Since these observations can't be explained by the Standard Model, the theory that describes subatomic particles, the phenomenon responsible for these pulses could be key to unlocking new scientific understanding.

“Within minutes of initial reports [the events are recast] as evidence of hidden conspiratorial plots, obscuring the true motives and perpetrators.

“In the days following these crises, Kremlin-affiliated propagandists and Iranian state-linked media are able to rapidly inject narratives that are taken up by MAGA-impostor influencers, who then inject them into MAGA-branded spaces,” the report notes.
