This was one of my dad's favorites. Him and I used to watch this when I was growing up. On his birthday it was something him and I would sit down and watch together. I believe it reminded him of his own childhood memories with this film.

Today would be his 73 birthday, and so I am going to sit down, with some alien grass, and watch this like him and I used to.

I also really enjoyed this film growing up. An oldie, but a goodie. 

The Thing from Another World

In Anchorage, journalist Ned Scott, looking for a story, visits the officer's club of the Alaskan Air Command, where he meets Captain Pat Hendry, his co-pilot and flight navigator. General Fogarty orders Hendry to fly to Polar Expedition Six at the North Pole, per a request from its lead scientist, Nobel laureate Dr. Arthur Carrington; Carrington has radioed that an unusual aircraft has crashed nearby. With Scott, Corporal Barnes, crew chief Bob, and a pack of sled dogs, Hendry pilots a Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft to the remote outpost.

Upon arrival, Scott and the airmen meet radio operator Tex, scientists Dr. Chapman and his wife, and colleagues Vorhees, Stern, Redding, Stone, Laurence, Wilson, Ambrose, and Carrington. Hendry later rekindles his romance with Nikki Nicholson, Carrington's secretary. Several scientists fly with the airmen to the crash site, finding a large object buried beneath the ice. As they spread out to determine the object's shape, they realize that they are standing in a circle, outlining a flying saucer. The team attempts free it from the ice with thermite, but a violent reaction with the craft's metal alloy completely destroys it. Their Geiger counter, however, detects something buried nearby, a frozen body. It is excavated intact in a large block of ice and flown back to the base as an Arctic storm closes in on them.

Given the discovery, Hendry assumes command of the outpost and, pending radio instructions from General Fogarty, both denies Scott permission to send out his story and the scientists' demands to examine the body. Tex sends an update to Fogarty, and the airmen settle for the storm. A watch is posted; relieving the first shift, Barnes is disturbed by the creature's glare through the clearing ice and covers it with an electric blanket he does not realize is plugged in. The block slowly thaws and the creature, still alive, escapes into the storm. It fights with the sled dogs and kills two, but loses most of its right forearm.

An airman recovers the stump after the attack and the scientists examine its tissue, concluding that the creature is an advanced form of plant life. Carrington is convinced of its superiority to humans and becomes intent on communicating with it. The airmen begin a search, which leads to the outpost's greenhouse. Carrington stays behind with other scientists, having noticed evidence of alien activity there. They discover a hidden third sled dog, which had been bled dry, revealing the creature as a vampire that feeds on blood. Carrington and the scientists post a secret watch of their own, hoping to encounter it before the airmen do.

The next morning, the airmen continue their search. Tex informs them that Fogarty is aware of their discovery and demands further information, now prevented by the fierce storm. Stern appears, badly injured, and tells the group that the creature has killed and bled two scientists. When the airmen investigate, they are attacked, but manage to barricade the creature inside the greenhouse. Hendry confronts Carrington and orders him to remain in his lab and quarters.

Carrington, obsessed with the creature, shows Nicholson and the other scientists that he has been growing small alien plants from seeds taken from the severed arm and feeding them with the base’s blood plasma supply. Hendry discovers the theft when plasma is needed to treat Stern, which leads him to Carrington. Fogarty transmits orders to keep the creature alive, but it escapes from the greenhouse and attacks the airmen in their quarters. They douse it with buckets of kerosene and set it aflame, forcing it to retreat into the -60F storm. After regrouping, they realize the creature has sabotaged the base furnaces’ oil supply, plummeting temperatures indoors. They retreat to the station's generator room to keep warm, and rig a high-voltage electrical "fly trap". The creature continues to stalk them. At the last moment Carrington pleads with it, but is knocked violently aside. The creature walks into the trap and is electrocuted. On Hendry's order, it is reduced to a pile of ash.

When the weather clears, Hendry and Nicholson are careening toward marriage, and Scotty is finally able to radio his "story of a lifetime" to a roomful of reporters in Anchorage. He ends his broadcast with the warning: "Tell the world. Tell this to everybody, wherever they are. Watch the skies everywhere. Keep looking. Keep watching the skies...".

The monkeypox virus is part of the same family of viruses (orthopoxviruses) as smallpox but is less severe. In 1980, the World Health Assembly announced that smallpox had been eradicated and recommended that all countries cease vaccination. Although labs in two countries still officially store smallpox samples (U.S. and Russia).

Mpox was first identified in Denmark, in 1958, when two outbreaks of a pox-like disease occurred in lab monkeys, which is how it got its name- although monkeys are not considered to be reservoirs for the virus. The source of the virus is said to be unknown.

In 1970, the first human case of mpox was recorded in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was during a time when smallpox was being eradicated. The disease is considered to be endemic to countries in central and west Africa. The outbreaks have been concentrated among men who have sex with men.

In late September 2023, the emergence of a new variant of the virus was detected in central Africa. As of August 2024, more than 21,000 cases have been reported, with over 600 fatalities, nearly all in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

On 14 August 2024, the World Health Organization declared the epidemic a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC).

A month after the WHO’s announcement, the small Danish biotech firm, Bavarian Nordic became the first in the world to receive approval for a monkeypox vaccine, JYNNEOS (known internationally as Imvamune or Imvanex), initially developed for smallpox but was rarely used.

In the wake of the September 2001 anthrax attacks, President George W. Bush signed into law the Project BioShield Act of 2004 (Project BioShield) “as part of a broader strategy to defend America against the threat of weapons of mass destruction. The purpose of Project BioShield is to accelerate the research, development, purchase, and availability of effective medical countermeasures against biological, chemical, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats.”

Project Bioshield was a ten year program managed by Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The act called for $5 billion for purchasing vaccines that would be used in the event of a bioterrorist attack, for civilian use. Since 2001, $50 billion has been allocated by the United States government to address the threat of biological weapons.

A key element of the Act allowed the stockpiling and distribution of vaccines that had not been tested for safety or efficacy in humans, “due to ethical concerns.” This is because the agents could not have been tested in humans without also exposing them to the threat- instead animal testing was used to establish efficacy.

Bavarian Nordic’s small pox vaccine was developed under Project Bioshield. The US government partnered with it to develop Jynneos, primarily to prevent smallpox in the event of a bioterrorist attack. Another strategic, “public-private partnership”, which resulted in the creation of a billion-dollar shot was Moderna’s collaboration with the NIH’s Vaccine Research Centre. The Covid mRNA-based shot, Spikevax, became Moderna’s first (after ten years of failing to bring a drug or vaccine to market) and most lucrative product ever.

Bavarian Nordic president and CEO Paul Chaplin said:

As mentioned earlier, Bavarian Nordic’s small pox vaccine was rarely used but on the heels of the WHO announcing mpox as a PHEIC, orders started flooding in from around the world.

On September 18, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance “announced an advance purchase agreement (APA) to secure 500,000 doses of the MVA-BN® mpox vaccine (marketed as JYNNEOS® or IMVANEX®) to be supplied to countries in Africa impacted by the mpox outbreak.”

On a side note- in June 2001, just a few months before the anthrax attacks which led to Project Bioshield, a bioterrorism training exercise, code-named “Dark Winter” simulated a covert smallpox attack on the United States. It was a collaborative effort led by the John Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Strategies, the ANSER Institute for Homeland Security, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Institute for the Prevention Terrorism. Those who were present included several Congressmen, a former CIA director (James Woolsey), Tara [Terrible] O’Toole (then Director of John Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Strategies, now Director of the CIA hedge fund In-Q-Tel) and CIA’s former deputy director for Science and Technology (Ruth David) and selected members of the press.

Those who participated in “Dark Winter” explored strategies for imposing coercive quarantines; censorship; mandatory masking, lockdowns, and vaccination; and expanded police powers as the only rational responses to the pandemic. Eerily, these strategies were adopted as governmental Covid countermeasures, decades later.

The organizer of this pandemic simulation was former Air Force physician Robert Kadlec, who also happened to lead “Crimson Contagion” in 2019- another pandemic simulation run by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) involving a scenario in which a group of tourists returning from China spread a novel influenza virus in the United States.

Robert Kadlec served as Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services (Preparedness and Response) from 2017-2021. He was responsible for the creation of Operation Warp Speed, the Covid vaccine development program.

A second small pox vaccine that was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the prevention of mpox was ACAM2000, on August 29th, under Expanded Access Investigational New Drug (EA-IND) protocol.

ACAM2000 is manufactured by the controversial, Emergent BioSolutions. It was originally approved to prevent small pox in 2007.

The side effects of ACAM2000 make a horrifying read.



Not only is death listed as a “serious complication” but alarmingly the FDA’s own medication guide states: “ACAM2000 contains live vaccinia virus that can be transmitted to persons who have close contact with the vaccinee and the risks in contacts are the same as those for the vaccinee.”

Meaning that even people who come into close contact with someone who has been vaccinated could possibly die. The packaging insert even states this: “Death has also been reported in unvaccinated contacts accidentally infected by individuals who have been vaccinated.”

According to the CDC:

Quote:ACAM2000 is a second-generation vaccine that contains a live vaccinia virus that replicates efficiently in humans. It is manufactured by Emergent Bio Solutions and is indicated for the prevention of smallpox. It has been made available for use against mpox in the clade II outbreak under an Expanded Access Investigational New Drug (EA-IND) protocol, which requires informed consent along with completing additional forms. ……Although the United States has a large supply of ACAM2000, this vaccine has more side effects and contraindications than JYNNEOS.

Notably, on the vaccine information sheet for the other small pox-turned-mpox vaccine, JYNNEOS, it reads: “CDC recommends consideration of the vaccine for people who administer ACAM2000®, or who care for patients infected with orthopoxviruses.”

In June of this year, Emergent BioSolutions “received more than $250 million in contract modifications from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), to deliver millions of doses of four medical countermeasures (MCMs). . These contract modifications will help ensure continued supply/stockpiling of critical MCMs to address biological threats and emergencies against anthrax, smallpox and botulism.”

One of the awards included a contract modification valued at $99.9 million to supply ACAM2000® this year.

What is interesting is that the FDA’s approval of ACAM2000 for the prevention of mpox came on the heels of Emergent BioSolutions pledge to donate 50,000 doses of its vaccine to “Democratic Republic of the Congo and other impacted countries of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda to address the current mpox outbreak.”

It is also noteworthy that this deadly vaccine was being stockpiled- with the CDC’s comment “the United States has a large supply,” nodding to that fact. The mpox outbreak provided the perfect opportunity to off-load the surplus stock.

It is deeply disturbing that the FDA would approve a vaccine so life-alteringly harmful to not just those being given it- but for those who would come into close contact with the vaccinee. However, unlike the gene-based Covid shots that were branded as “vaccines,” at least the side effects are clearly stated on the medication guide for there to be some kind of informed consent.

This begs the question: how could the deadly ACAM2000 have gotten approval in the first place? Perhaps ,“Dark Winter/ Crimson Contagion” Robert Kadlec and his connections might provide an answer.

Before being appointed by Trump as Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response in 2017, Kadlec was previously a consultant for none other than- Emergent BioSolutions. The very same U.S. biotechnology company that purchased ACAM2000 from Sanofi Pasteur in 2017. Kadlec was part-owner of a consulting company RPK Consulting providing services to Emergent, apparently until 2015. He chose not to disclose these facts in Senate nomination forms during his confirmation process in 2017.

Right after taking office, in a resounding conflict of interest move, Kadlec aggressively pushed to increase the government's stockpile of smallpox vaccine through purchase agreements with Emergent BioSolutions. In the end, the HHS awarded a 10-year, $2.8 billion single-source contract to the company to purchase its smallpox vaccines at twice the previous price.

It is noteworthy that in 1998, Colonel Dr Robert Kadlec, who at the time was the Biodefence Programmes Director at the Department of Homeland Security, wrote in a Pentagon strategy paper: “Using biological weapons under the cover of an endemic or natural disease occurrence provides an attacker the potential for plausible denial. Biological warfare’s potential to create significant economic loss and subsequent political instability, coupled with plausible denial, exceeds the possibilities of any other human weapon.”

Mpox, Project Bioshield, Everyone's Dark Winter?

I feel the need to share this experience I've been having and that this was the best place to share it first and give it a test run.

Since July, I've been dealing with the family estate that belonged to my mother and her husband. Other than being a trustee for a trust the situation of cleaning out a house full of the possessions of two lifetimes is much the same as any other estate. My step-sister is the other trustee and we decided to run the estate sales on our own.

Of course, rummaging through the family's belongings that accumulated since at least the 1970s was an emotional experience and one that shed light on many things over the years, things that began to make me question the results of these two lifetimes.

My mother did very well and her last husband came into the relationship with just a suitcase, so I imagine that was the main reason the trust was created. The trust allowed them to live comfortably in their later years and enabled their hoarding of possessions to progress into a serious problem, esp. after Mom died and her husband had nothing better to do than collect things.

They had similar interests and tastes in antiques and Native American culture and they both had the hoarding trait that had them collecting things and then storing most of it where ever they could. It was total mental illness by the time Dad passed away and an unbelievable task that they have drawn me into from beyond the grave.

I had a few emotional break downs while working the estate and began to come to grips with the spiritual side of all this. This came to a head recently when I finally cleaned out the attic where the Christmas stuff was stored. "Here's your Merry Christmas in hell" was basically what I was saying while I tossed the shit down the folding attic stairs on to the floor below.

Once I calmed down, I began to think about a few Bible verses that applied to the situation. Now that I'm back at home for awhile, I did some research and have come to the conclusion that there is no place in heaven for hoarders. So that only leaves one other place in the afterlife.

Below is my research for you to decide where hoarders end up.

Hoarding and Sin

The most frightening and damning verses are from James who makes it pretty clear what will happen to hoarders once they pass away.

James 5:1-5 King James Bible

(1) Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. (2) Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. (3) Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. (4) Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. (5) Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

In the hereafter, hoarders will weep and wail in misery, fire will eat their flesh, they will be slaughtered, and they will have done it all to themselves during their lives.

1 Corinthians condemns the greedy behavior inherent in hoarding by grouping it with other serious sins (as covetousness) resulting in not making it into heaven, which will only leave you one other place in the afterlife.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Here Matthew simplifies James's words, elaborates a little, and gives the reader the way back to the Lord.

(24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (25) Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Matthew relates this story about the Lord to illustrate his teachings on hoarding treasure.

Luke's warning and parable also illustrate the sinfullness of hoarding. The first and last quotes from Luke presented here are enough without the parable in between.

To sum it up, hoarding to the degree which I found it is related to the sins of coveting, greed, idolatry, along with a couple of others. Then to add to it, there was this obsession with primitive Native cultures and my Mother's choice of the Mormon religion at the end. Not good if you know and study the Bible and have real faith.

A new study from Brazil reveals that microplastics might enter the human brain through the nose, with unknown impact on brain function.

For the first time, researchers have found microplastics in the brain.
The latest study, published on Sept. 16 in JAMA, identifies microplastics in the olfactory bulb—the region of the brain located above the nose and responsible for our sense of smell. This discovery raises new concerns that these tiny particles might be slipping past the brain’s protective barriers and enter deeper brain regions, potentially harming brain health and neurological function.
“Our analysis of olfactory bulbs from deceased patients in São Paulo confirmed the presence of microplastics,” physician and principal investigator Thais Mauad told The Epoch Times. This suggests a potential route for these particles to enter the brain.

Mauad also highlighted the uncertainty surrounding the health effects of these findings. “We still don’t know the consequences,” she said, noting that animal studies suggest potential neurotoxicity and links to neurodegenerative diseases.
While microplastics have been found in various body tissues, including the lungs, gut, liver, placenta, testicles, and bloodstream, research on their health risks is still in its early stages. More studies are needed to understand the potential health impacts.
Brain Plastic From Everyday Items
The tiny plastic particles found in the human brain’s olfactory bulbs are often present in everyday items like food packaging and clothing. Given the widespread presence of these particles in the air, Mauad and the researchers proposed that people may be getting microplastics in their brains by breathing them in through the nose, similar to the way certain air pollution particles enter the brain.
Plastic does not break down completely; it turns into smaller pieces over time, contaminating the air, food, and water.

Mauad said that people are exposed to more plastics when indoors.
“We are massively exposed to microplastics,” she said. “We breathe in more indoors than outdoors.”
The researchers examined the brains of 15 deceased individuals, aged 33 to 100 years, and found microplastics in the olfactory bulbs of eight of them. The most common plastic found was polypropylene, making up nearly 44 percent of the samples. Polypropylene is used in items like food containers, straws, and some clothing fibers. Other plastics found included:

• Nylon/polyamide: Used in clothing, carpets, and industrial products.
  
• Polyethylene: Found in plastic bags, bottles, and containers.
  
• Polyethylene vinyl acetate (EVA): Used in flexible packaging and some footwear.
  

The microplastics measured between 5.5 and 26.4 micrometers—much smaller than very fine dust. To put this in perspective, dividing the width of a human hair into 13 segments is about the size of the smallest microplastics found.
Slipping Past the Brain’s Barrier
There is a small passage in the nose that allows olfactory nerves to cross from the nose to the brain, said Mauad, who is a professor of medicine at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo.
She suspects that the microplastics could enter the brain using the same route. This direct pathway may allow plastic particles to enter the brain without passing through the blood-brain barrier, which acts as a protective shield to prevent the brain from harmful substances.
The microplastic particles may be able to interact with the olfactory nerves through this tunnel, she said.
Animal studies have shown that microplastics can affect brain areas involved in sensory processing and memory.
The nose-to-brain pathways have been observed with carbon air pollution particles, suggesting microplastics might do the same. Some animal studies indicate that microplastics could potentially cross the blood-brain barrier and affect various brain areas.
Health Implications Beyond Microplastics
The plastic problem is not only the microplastics, Mauad said. It’s also all the additives that are in the plastic. These additives, used to give properties like color and heat resistance, can be harmful. Some are carcinogenic or act as endocrine disruptors and can be released when plastics are heated, such as in the microwave.
Furthermore, “the presence of non-digestible microplastic particles with additives might provoke reactions,” particularly in a developing brain, she added.
In addition, previous research has linked fine particulate matter in the air to brain issues such as dementia, with some diseases like Parkinson’s potentially beginning with nasal symptoms. Both fine particulate matter and microplastics have shown potential to negatively impact brain development in experiments, according to the study.
To minimize exposure to microplastics, Mauad recommends:

• Limiting use of plastics: Reduce the use of plastic containers and packaging, especially for food and beverages.
  
• Choosing natural fibers: Opt for clothing and textiles made from natural materials rather than synthetic fibers.
  
• Avoid heating plastics: Avoid microwaving food in plastic containers or using plastic wrap in the microwave.
  

In some research along the way I kept coming across a lot of legends and deep superstitions involving mirrors, and them being tied to the spirit world. I even had a wise ol' mystic tell me once to remove all the mirrors, and any reflective surfaces from my bedroom. He told me that we are most vulnerable to the spirit world when we are asleep, and that mirrors were a way for spirits and demons to gain access to us. I thought this sounded crazy at first, but the more I learned the more I started to question some of this folklore. There is a ton of lore on mirrors being evil, and being used in magick.

Mirrors 

In folklore, a mirror is a doorway or portal through which spirits, including ghosts and demons can gain access to the physical world where demonic infestations and hauntings occur.

In prehistory, any shiny surface was regarded as a spirit doorway and used to summon spirits into the world. They also are used for seeing visions of the future.

Much of the folklore about mirrors is negative. They are viewed by some as “soul stealers” with the power to suck souls out from bodies. In the Greek myth of Narcissus, he sees his own reflection in water and falls in love with it, staring hopelessly until he dies.

In some Christian beliefs, the Devil and Demons can enter through mirrors to attack people.

There are also numerous beliefs about mirrors and the dead. In many folklores, when a person dies, all the mirrors in a house should be turned over because if the soul sees itself in a mirror, it will not rest or can become a vampire. Corpses seeing themselves in mirrors will also draw bad luck upon the household. In some cultural beliefs, where corpses are laid out in homes, people still believe that souls linger about the body until burial.

Another folk belief is if a person sees his or her own reflection in a room where someone has died, it is an omen of their own death. Mirrors also should be covered in sick rooms in the belief that when the soul is weakened it is more vulnerable to possession during illness.

In other folklore, mirrors are believed to reflect the soul and must be guarded lest the soul be lost. These fears carry over into superstitious customs, such as covering the mirrors in a house after death to prevent the souls of the living from being carried off by the ghost of the newly departed through a mirror.

In some Russian folklore, mirrors are considered the invention of the Devil because they have the power to draw souls from bodies. Similarly, mirrors and in some places of the world all shiny surfaces, must be covered in a house after a death to prevent the soul of the living from being carried off by the ghost of the newly dead. Mirrors are covered in case one sees the corpse looking over one’s shoulder.

In an old Persian spell, ghosts may be seen in a mirror by standing in front of it and combing the hair without thinking, speaking or moving.

In then folklore of the American Ozark, the appearance of a distant friend in a mirror means he or she will soon die.

The famous folklore that breaking a mirror means seven years of bad luck but also heralds a death in the family or household. For example, if a child breaks a mirror, one of the children in the house will die within the year.

If a home is plagued with unpleasant spirit activity, the mirror in the bedrooms should never be placed at the foot or head of a bed. To do is is considered a negative influence for a person to be able to see himself or herself from any angle in a mirror while in bed. Mirrors should also never reflect into each other as this creates an unstable psychic space. A folk remedy says a mirror should be placed so that it faces outward toward a door or window. The reasoning being when the unquiet spirit looks in a window or attempts to cross a door threshold, it will see its own reflection and be scared away. Mirrors can also be closed as portals by rubbing the edges of them or washing the surfaces in holy water.

Mirrors are also tools used in Divination and Magic. In divination, mirrors train the inner eye to perceive the unseen. Throughout history, mirror gazing has been used for prophecy, aid with healing, find lost objects and people and even to identify or find thieves and criminals.

The power of mirrors—or any reflective surface—to reveal what is hidden has been used since ancient times. Gazing upon any shining surface is one of the oldest forms of Scrying (a method of divination practiced by the early Egyptians, Arabs, the Magi of Persia, Greeks, and Romans). Magic mirrors are mentioned by numerous ancient authors, among them Apuleius, Saint Augustine, Pausanias, and Spartianus. According to Pausanias, divination for healing was best done with a mirror attached to a string . The string was dangled into water and the diviner ascertained whether or not a sick person would heal.

In ancient Greece, the witches of Thessaly reputedly wrote their oracles in human blood upon mirrors. Pythagoras was said to have a magic mirror that he held up to the Moon to see the future in it. Romans skilled in mirror reading were called specularii.

In the late Middle Ages, Catherine de Medicis reputedly had a magic mirror that enabled her to see the future for herself and for France. Pére Cotton, the confessor to King Henri IV of France, had a magic mirror that revealed to him any plots against the king.

In Christian folklore, mirrors enable demons to make themselves known. St. Patrick declared that Christians who said they could see Demons in mirrors would be expelled from the church until they repented.

In Vodoun, a magical mirror is called a minore. A minore is made of highly polished metal and is consecrated for the purpose of seeing visions in divination. Only a priest or priestess may use a minore.

For Magic, both flat mirrors and concave mirrors are used in magic. Other shiny and reflective surfaces work as well like crystal balls, good size crystals and bowls of water or ink. Franz Bardon taught precise instructions for making magical mirrors that would be “loaded” or empowered with the help of the elements, the Akasha, light and fluid condensers. The result of such a charged magic mirror should be stored wrapped in silk to protect its energies from contamination.

Mirrors are also used in Scrying which is accomplished by the astral and mental powers developed by the magician and not specifically the mirror. The mirror serves only as an aid for focusing such powers.

Visualising a person in a magical mirror enables contact. The scryer can then go to the astral plane to communicate with the dead. The living can be contacted through a mirror as well with the scryer visualizes the person intensely until they seem drawn out of the mirror.

The magic mirror can be used as a tool for investigating the past, present, and future. A mirror helps the magician transcend time to see events which is one of the most difficult aspects of mirror work.

The medieval magician Albertus Magnus recorded a formula for making a magic mirror: Buy a looking glass and inscribe upon it “S. Solam S. Tattler S. Echogordner Gematur.” Next, bury it at a Crossroads during an uneven hour and on the third day, go to the spot at the same hour and dig it up—but do not be the first person to gaze into the mirror. In fact, said magnus, it is best to let a dog or a cat take the first look.

The Aztecs used a mirror like surfaces to keep witches away. A bowl of water with a knife in it was placed in the entrances of homes. A witch looking into it would see her soul pierced by the knife and flee.

Today we have exploding news in the Middle East which is nothing new, but this is like straight out of a dystopian sci-thriller movie.

"A Hezbollah official who spoke on condition of anonymity told The Associated Press that the new brand of handheld pagers used by the group first heated up, then exploded."

There are conflicting reports/signs regarding the modus operandi behind the explosion.

Some reports claim the lithium batteries of the pager overheated, and that a few of those targeted got rid of them before they detonated. On other videos/other reports, messages are received just before the explosion, which may be part of the detonating mechanism or just a way to make sure targets are hit, plus the report about a newer version of the pager being the one detonating, points to more of a physical breach.

I'm not an expert on exploding Lithium batteries, but from dozens of videos over the past 4 years we've all seen, the explosion/sparking is always followed by a fire. I don't see any fires in these Lebanon videos. Just a pop/bang, severe lacerations or worse, off with the arms or legs. Seems more like a tiny drop of plastic explosive. I don't think it was a hack; more of an implant with a digital trigger. Some group had to of intercepted that shipment of pagers.

On a wing and a prayer

OK, you are going to have to bear with me a moment. We are dealing with complex situations, a lot of history, and linguistic manipulation to get to the zinger moment. By the end of this article, I expect the reader to understand — if not agree — with my thesis.

The first thing we need to do is clarify what “fascism” is. Fascism, or corporatism as Mussolini called it, is basically the same as socialism in most aspects. The difference is that corporations control the governments in fascism, and the governments own all the corporations in socialism. Down here in the trenches, there’s very little difference in the misery index. Mostly it’s a matter of who gets all the perks and benefits — corporate officers or government officials.

In essence, under fascism governments are the enforcement arm for corporate power, and in socialism corporations do the arm twisting for government power. Either way, we humans are squeezed for economic value to service a self-selected band of brigands, the color of whose coats matters little in the final analysis.

The prolific author Joseph P. Farrell has pointed out many times that at the end of World War 2, the German government surrendered, but not the Nazi party. Another great author, Peter Levenda, has done yeoman’s work ferretting out the ratlines that helped top Nazis escape Europe. In addition, the US (Operation Paper Clip) and USSR (Operation Osoaviakhim) grabbed prize Nazis for their respective space programs, and other “research” and intelligence operations.

The result is that we have a global network of ideologically aligned individuals and organizations leveraging their network to affect global events and change. A zoo of Quasi-Governmental Organizations (QGOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) effectively dictate policies and socio-economic initiatives toward a singular goal: world governance (not government).

It is my contention that most if not all of these QGOs and NGOs are created and run by fascist ideologues looking to create a global pyramidal power structure with fully isolated, even invisible corporate overlords running the show at the pyramidion.

It is no secret that fleeing Nazis had access to vast amounts of wealth, generated either by controlling interests in megacorps like IG Farben, or looted from national and personal treasuries and vaults of conquered peoples. Just one minor example is the gold dumped in Lake Halstatt, Austria.

The looted wealth, and the intricate network of financial ties to corporations around the world has enabled the fascists to slowly dominate global power structures, either through enormous holding companies, like BlackRock and Vanguard, or by direct lobbying of national governments through the QGO/NGO networks, to enact enabling legislation that favors the networks and channels wealth to and through them. This is achieved by a proliferation of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), where the flow of wealth is primarily from the public to the private entities, but allow politicians to benefit financially from the legislation they enact to create the PPPs.

The goal is to establish a rigid pyramid of command and control, wherein nations are subsumed into 18 regional “economic unions”. The 18 unions are then placed under the control of global organizations specialized in specific areas, such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank/International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Standards Organization (ISO), and so on. The UN itself is a QGO, which coordinates funding and operations for the other QGOs/NGOs, functioning as the legal framework for the whole mess.

Examples of regional economic and trade organizations include North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA), the European Economic Community (EEC), the European Trade Organization (ETO), Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). These groups effect policies at the national and regional level on behalf of the global organizations, by recommending/pressuring individual nations to adopt standardized policy packages that are attached to various financial rewards.

National governments are thus the enforcement arm for the global corporate power structure, and the touch point where it all meets us regular folks. If the pyramidion wants us to buy Electric Vehicles (EVs), thus forcing us humans to financially support an entire controlled industrial sector (mining, refining, construction, distribution, fueling), then suddenly global governments are mandating EVs and scrambling to carve out a specialty in the market supply chain (batteries, assembly, charging stations), so that they can claim to have “created jobs” for hoi polloi.

The NGOs effect change in the social-cultural sphere. They manipulate educational systems, public affairs groups, think tanks, media channels, and similar outlets in order to alter, coordinate and align public opinion, generating “consensus” in the process. Efforts such as DEI, ESG, Climate Change, Energy Transition, Green New Deal, and so forth are promulgated and controlled through the NGOs — essentially the agitprop arm of global governance.

If the pyramidion wants us to believe the global climate is an existential threat, then the NGOs set up educational programs, public outreach centers, media messaging, rallies, and so forth to make us believe it is a “grassroots” movement. The QGOs force governments to support the NGOs via outrageous sums of grants and aid, so that hoi polloi fund their own brainwashing and captivity.

Governments either directly fund the NGOs, or they pay a membership tax to the UN, which then distributes the booty through its structure. In any case, the missions and visions of the QGOs and NGOs sound very high-minded and humanitarian, but they are little more than a sophisticated money-laundering scheme, with governments stealing your productivity (taxes) and distributing the wealth according to the dictates of the pyramidion.

All of this is funded by two primary mechanisms: corporate investment and public aid.

The latter is easy: governments are manipulated by internal agencies controlled by the fascist NGOs and network operatives to offer aid packages, grants, loan guarantees, government programs and procurement, and similar benefits to the QGOs and NGOs. That much is fairly straightforward and clearly visible in the public sphere.


The more complex operation is looting major corporations to fund the global operations. This takes the form of investment blackmail — adopt these policies or we cut off your funding — and by directed corporate spending. Here we touch on the thing that has so many people confused and wondering what’s going on.

I will use the entertainment industry, since that is the one I am most familiar with, but similar tactics are used throughout the global economy.

Why would a major corporate entity, let’s say Disney, buy up major franchises like LucasFilm and Marvel at incredibly tumid prices, and then proceed to trash them by producing copious amounts of content that no one wants or cares about? And why the huge. bloated budgets for products that are clearly substandard by every metric?


Let’s say I set up a “Woak” company to supply CGI effects for feature films, using investment from some Woak major holding company and guaranteed loans from some Woak banking interest. I then secure contracts with a Woak production house via my Woak network contacts, charging outrageous sums of money for rather pedestrian products that many people can do better at home these days.

Next, I subcontract various Woak “suppliers” in third-world countries, also at bloated sums, for goods and services related to my “products,” and those subcontractors are all part of the same Woak network of companies, and operate in more “flexible” legal environments.

The production house produces a feature film costing $300 million, but only using $20 million in actual goods and services. Add another $300 million for Marketing & Advertising (M&A), which really only uses maybe $10 million in actual goods and services. The net result is $570 million that didn’t pay for anything. Furthermore, the feature film was so horrible and unwatchable that no one paid to see it, so now the entire $600 million is written off as a “legitimate” tax loss, while down at the granular level, the money is shunted into QGOs/NGOs via payroll fraud, “donations” and similar methods.


Even if only $100 million of the original $600 million makes it to the organizational level, it’s “free” money that didn’t need to be allocated in public view, it’s all a tax loss at some level, and it has no strings attached — money laundering at a scale most of us can’t imagine.

Now do this 100 times per year per megacorp and we’re talking some serous fun money. Similar scams are run at the public level, say buying outrageously priced spacecraft with cost-plus contracts that are a decade overdue and billions over budget, and don’t work as advertised.

Some of this “mad money” gets funnelled back into political pockets via foundations and campaign donations, thus heading off too much public scrutiny, and buying willing political fingers poised on the legislative approval button.


Now, what does all this look like, in a metaphorical sort of way?

Let’s suppose we have a pyramid with four corners, as they will do. Each corner touches the apex of another pyramid beneath it, and so on. We thus have a progression of 1, 4, 16, 64, 256, 1024, and so on. If the pyramidion at the top issues an edict, it has reached 1,024 board rooms in a matter of minutes, by email or phone call, with each player/pyramid only being responsible for contacting and controlling the four beneath it. That’s 262,144 controlled entities within 10 iterations of the pyramidion, controlled by executive, financial and/or coercive power to carry out whatever policy the pyramidion wishes.

That’s how the world actually operates, and this system is being implemented with increasing speed and rigidity almost on a daily basis. If the pyramidion sits on top of four others labelled Academic, Cultural, Financial, and Industrial, and each of them sits on four of their own, then it’s easy to see not only the power and control structure, but also how they are intertwined with each other through various relationships and reporting systems — the corners of layer 1 touch the apices of layer 2, whose sides align with each other and whose corners touch the apices of layer 3, and so on.


Because all of the entities in our pile of pyramids is a corporate entity, then by definition we have a fascist global governance system. If the pyramidion wants everyone to get vaccinated, then it can marshal academic, industrial, financial, and cultural mechanisms to enact and enforce the edict — multi-spectrum command and control. And the vast amounts of public funds governments are forced to pay for vaccines? Well, that all gets funnelled into the money laundering network.

Anyone who thinks a certain political candidate, party or movement is going to change things has not pondered the depth and breadth of the problem.

The problem is systemic and endemic, and cannot be stopped or altered with a vote or a donation or a rally. The individual must fully extract himself from the entire system and form an alternative system that attracts others to form an ecosystem.


The Nazis are just one of many groups that espoused fascism, and most of the groups involved are completely unknown and invisible to the general public. When was the last time you heard or thought about Mussolini’s Partito Nazionale Fascista (PNF)? You probably never heard about it in school, nor even thought to look it up.

Fascism has been taking over the world since at least AD 1666, with the charter of the British East India Company — think of all the national flags that incorporate red/white horizontal stripes. It has seen many iterations, set-backs and victories since then. It has become enshrined in the legal systems of the world and enforced by legions of mindless goons looking for a steady paycheck and cushy retirement plan, with health and dental benefits, of course.

If you play the game, you get a reasonable lifestyle, relative security, and a bland pointless existence shuffling paper from one side of the desk to the other.


If, on the other hand, you fight the system, it comes down on you from all sides, activating all levels of the pyramid structure against you, applying multi-spectrum pressure until it reaches your breaking point and you succumb to it. Your job disappears, your bank cuts you off, your social media accounts are locked, and your friends and family shun you.

As Orwell pointed out, it isn’t enough that Big Brother disposes of you, you must first embrace and love Big Brother, breaking both your will and your mind in the process.

Is there a way out? Of course, but it involves forming an alternative society that also encompasses the academic, cultural, financial, and industrial aspects of civilization. It has taken the fascists centuries to build their system, through generational indoctrination and incremental progress. The vast majority of humans don’t see beyond the next paycheck, and that is by design.

The elimination of generational wealth and private property means most people don’t have the ability to focus on anything more than subsistence, and the coordinated destruction of the family prevents cohesive relationships outside of direct pyramid control. That is how feudal systems are perpetuated.


As with all pyramidal structures, though, there is a point where the sheer weight of its complexity and component parts exceeds the capacity of the structure to support it. We are reaching that point now in our global civilization. The complexity of the system that supports the entire fascist structure is exceeding its ability to keep all the parts aligned. Perhaps this is the impetus behind AI, since mere humans can’t react fast enough to deal with all the variables?

Thus the question we are faced with is, what do we have to fill the vacuum in the wake of the collapse?

Our movie today is the stunning and brilliant 1984 (1984), featuring the deft direction of Michael Radford, and career-defining performances by John Hurt and Richard Burton, and a haunting score by Dominic Muldowney and the Eurythmics. This is by far the greatest adaptation of the novel, and a film whose quality reminds us of just how far the entertainment industry has declined.
