Army's new plan electronic warfare and big guns - 727Sky - 06-08-2025

I am so glad I do not have to fly or fight in/on today's battlefield under today's leadership and war planners. When a long range patrol unit made contact they were usually in a world of hurt, in my day.

Yet, there is something breath-taking when an entire grid square gets pulverized by battery fire.

My most impressive end of the world thing for me was three B-52s doing a carpet bomb attack on a tunnel complex with some "enemy combatants" in the open....We used to say Gooks but that has fallen out of favor and is not politically correct anymore. There were a few actually found alive but they were bleeding out of ever orifice and they all seemed to have died before medical care was administered...??? Go figure  Spooked2 Puke MinusculeWTF

Blast wave from the big bombs is a killer in its own right, never mind the shrapnel.  I think it was a blast wave that killed General McNair in Normandy.
