The CERN Rabbit Hole is TERRIFYING - EndtheMadnessNow - 07-20-2025

CERN isn’t just about smashing particles. From Shiva statues to wild internet theories, it’s become a magnet for conspiracies. Did the world end in 2012? Are scientists messing with dimensions they don’t understand? This episode dives headfirst into the rabbit hole to find out what’s really going on at the world’s most powerful scientific facility.

If you need 30 minutes of entertaining give Terror Ted's Tales a watch...

I think their sub-rosa mission is looking for an ultimate weapon ... one that will make hydrogen bombs look like firecrackers.

I don't trust the particle physicists in any case.  They want recognition and create experiments that may not be a good idea -- things like creating states of matter that haven't existed since shortly after the Big Bang.  The risks are poo-poo'd but all those reassurances won't count for anything if they somehow birth a stable black hole or something even more exotic.

Until we get some cool new appliance like the microwave oven, I won't believe they have discovered anything that great.

I have always thought that these scientists constantly need proof of the validity of their theories, and so we have these crazy experiments. It is like they all have a poor scientific self-image and spend all their time propping up their self-worth. Expensive, egotistical pursuits only to say, "See guys, I'm right".

Of course, they need the results for all the grant money donated by governments, industry, and other interests. So, even if what they discover and prove is relatively harmless in the lab, the final applications are likely risky, destructive, and dangerous.

recurring theme in media
scientist delves where he shouldn't and results in catastrophe.

Can we create paperclip size black hole ?

Humans - ‘let’s fuck around and find out’.

The end .

Quote:The concern was that these particle accelerators —specifically the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY, and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which straddles the border of France and Switzerland — would accidentally produce a particularly dangerous form of matter.

This “strange matter” as it would come to be called would quickly convert all normal matter on Earth to strange matter like itself in mere moments, a kind of particle zombie apocalypse powered by exponential growth that would leave the Earth and all life on it reduced to a relatively tiny ball of quarks about 100 meters across.

Strangelets.  Of course, the whores for science assure us this could -never- happen.  Sure

I thought strangelets where the bastard children produced from one night stands. Whores get pregnant too I guess, but a whore wouldn't be strange to a regular John.
