Trump orders two nuclear submarines be moved following Medvedev outburst - gortex - 08-01-2025
Former President , Prime Minister and now Deputy chair of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has once again threatened Russia's "Soviet Era" Nuclear deterrent on the World , only this time his comments were pointed to President Trump who in response has ordered the movement of 2 Nuclear Subs to "appropriate regions" following Mr Medvedev's 'highly provocative' comments.
Quote:It comes after Mr Medvedev, who is now deputy chair of Russia's Security Council, told the US president on Thursday to remember Moscow had Soviet-era nuclear strike capabilities of last resort.
On Friday, Mr Trump wrote on social media: "Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that.
"Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

NATO has moved the American 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment along with fighter jets from other Countries into Poland to bolster its presence on the Western Front as a signal to Russia after Medvedev's unwise words , Russia as usual claims this is an escalation and are sending medium range rocket systems to the area although given they're fighting a war it remains to be seen if they have those systems to spare.
Word is China are ready to attack Taiwan it's just a question of timing , a World at War.
