British government threaten 4Chan over Anonymous Free Speech - gortex - 08-17-2025

If there's one thing the British government don't like , other then British people , its Free Speech and more so anonymity while speaking freely , with this in mind the British Office of Communications is threatening the owners of American website 4Chan with heavy fines of £20,000 plus daily penalties  due to its promotion of anonymous Free Speech because they don't fit in with Labours new "Online Safety" censorship act , the law firm acting on behalf of 4chan have issued a "piss off" notice to Starmer and his fascistas threatening their own court action through American courts and calling on Trump to get involved.

I'm sure Starmer's proposed action against an American company offering anonymous online free speech on top of his bare faced lies to Trump's face about our "Free Speech" will make for an uncomfortable State visit of Trump for Starmer next month.

4Chan isn't the first company to weather these threats from OFCOM, nor will it be the last. OFCOM isn't even the first entity to try their luck in this matter with American companies - New Zealand, among others, has also rolled the dice in trying to impose THEIR law in MY country. Most companies so "served" have responded that the foreigners trying to impose their law on OUR companies can all just go piss up a rope.

The simple truth is that our companies don't fall under their jurisdiction. Rogue Nation, for example, has no UK assets, nor do we fall under UK jurisdiction. I know the jurisdiction I live in, and I know the jurisdiction our servers are in, and neither is a UK jurisdiction. So OFCOM can suck their 20,000 pounds a day "fines" right out of my... well, you get my drift.

We HAVE no "duties" under the UK "online Safety Act", because we do not fall under UK law. What Parliament may or may not do over there has no effect on us, as we are beyond their jurisdiction.

Their sole, only, and complete remedy for this "infraction" is to prevent such free speech outlets from crossing their borders. All they can do is put up another totalitarian "Great Firewall" like China has to regulate who can and who cannot be heard within their borders. that's it. that's all they can do, and thereby make their intolerable, draconian, totalitarian Censorship State obvious to all.

If they don't wanna do that, they need not come crying to me. they can kiss my ass. We will say what we want, WHEN we want, at Rogue Nation. Our governing documents guarantee that we can, and that's all we need to fall back on. I mean, we fought a whole war, kicked ass and took names, and sent Cornwallis and his red-coated bugger boys packing back home with their tails tucked firmly between their legs to make sure we never again fell under British law, y'know?

I suppose we could do it again if that became necessary.

Sounds like the British gov't need to be taught another lesson. 4Chan has literally survived years of democrats (since Trump's first term) + FBI harassment so I'm fairly confident they'll prevail. I guess time will tell.

On the 13th of September Tommy Robinson is holding a Free Speech rally in London in which I believe he is going to show his new documentary exposing Labours roll in the Muslim child sex exploitation scandal , three days before that over in France former Yellow Vest protesters have united with other disgruntled groups with the aim to “Block Everything!” to shut down France.

All we need is our German and Scandinavian friends to join the festivities and we got a Party.

Some of the western provinces of Canada seem to think so, too.

It would be a real kick in the head to Starmer If, after the US fought a war to get out from under British rule, Britain looked across the ocean and sent a letter saying "You've got a good thing going on there. Mind if we join?".

Downing Street - and wherever parliament sits... I can't recall the name, but I think it begins with a "W" - wouldn't have to join, I suppose - they could become a city-state like the Vatican, a tiny nation surrounded by their much larger former nation.

The, like the Pope and he Vatican, they could truly be "has beens" or "also rans".

I wouldn't count on that, really. I think Britain probably has more Viking blood left in it than the entirety of Scandinavia. Look at what the Swedes are willing to put up with, I once saw a Swede bragging about how he was a "Swedish Wiking", and then got his ass beat by a tiny girl, so I dunno if they'd be much fun at the party anyhow. Maybe just for the entertainment factor.

I can't figure out why the Germans haven't revolted already. If they haven't by now, I don't know what it would take to get them riled up enough to do it.

And France... the last time they threw a revolution, that turned out pretty poorly for several years afterward, didn't it? Isn't that when they invelted the guillotine as a more "humane" means of execution? Lots of heads  rolled off their bodies back then...

As smart as they think they are, you'd think the aristocracy would have learned by now, yet they haven't... and I don't think they ever will. Just having butt-loads of money that your ancestors worked their asses off to get doesn't mean that YOU have the smarts to get it yourself, now. yet still they try with their dumbassed ponzi schemes, and after a while the "underlings" decide they've had about e-damned-nough of that BS, and shit kicks off.

Happens every time, over and over again through history, yet those at the top of the heap are incapable of learning it appears.
