Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - 727Sky - 08-19-2025 Democrats and gun talking points RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - 727Sky - 08-19-2025 We lose 93 million Americans a day due to gun violence RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - Ninurta - 08-19-2025 All of my assault weapons of mass destruction are fully-semi-automatic. ALL of them. Even the single action revolver. All I have to do is pull the hammer back for each shot, and it's entirely ready to deal death to the masses. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid. I can do better than a measly 20 round clip magazine. I have 32 round clip magazine ammo case boxes for my 9 millimeter, just in case of a human wave attack by rabbits. I know they are out there... watching... And while we're on the subject, have you ever wondered why they call those box-thingies "MAGA-zines"? I think there is a conspiracy theory in there somewhere. Maybe Donald Trump invented them on the Dark Web. I have 40 round clip magazine ammo-case boxes for my AR. That means I am twice as ready, and twice as deadly, as any other entity on Earth that is only equipped with 20 round clip magazine ammo-case boxes. I was a Boy Scout. Their motto is "Be Prepared". That's right - I was a member of that paramilitary youth organization that trains future fascists and Nazi totalitarians for their proper role on your planet. Even my lowly Ruger 10.22 rifle has 32 round clip ammo-case magazine boxes. Those transform it into a military grade death-dealing dynamo, just by virtue of their mere existence. It may just be a .22 rifle, but those 32 round clip magazine boxes make it a force to be reckoned with for all mankind. It also has an antenna scope and even a laser death-ray. It is a formidable piece of kit, I tell ya! My AR also has a bayonet lug. I've never found a bayonet that will fit it, because any such bayonet would have to have a 7 or 8 inch handle, but just the fact that a bayonet lug is there makes it far deadlier than any other rifle without such a lug. For all practical purposes, that bayonet lug turns that rifle into a portable, hand-held nuke. No civilian should have nukes. Only the people who tell the civilians what to do should have nukes, in case the civilians get uppity ideas like "freedom", you know? Even the bolt action sniper hunting rifle has one of those shoulder thingies that goes up, which makes it the civilian counterpart of a military-grade 105 mm howitzer. That gadget increases the rifle's sheer destructive force by over 10,000 X. As I think about it, they're right. These guns are deadly, and after watching that video, even I am scared of what they may become. I think I'll just get rid of them, give them all to Goodwill or something. That's sure to make me a lot safer... . RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - FCD - 08-19-2025 "Clip"????, Ninurta!! I avoid that word like the plague! Sorry, but I do! I view a "clip" as a 'paper'-"Clip" (or similar). There is no such thing as a "clip" for a modern semi-auto, rifle or pistol! It's really not a lot different than the "gun" vs. "weapon" discussion in the Marine Corps. Again, sorry, man, just being honest. The only time "clip" is sort-of acceptable, is when we're talking about "stripper clips" used in any number of older semi-auto rifles. (Infernal damn things anyway!!) RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - Ninurta - 08-19-2025 (08-19-2025, 02:40 AM)FCD Wrote: "Clip"????, Ninurta!! "Older" semi-auto rifles? I have 1600 rounds of pure death already loaded on stripper clips for my AR, ready to go (in case the bears organize, and start using large-scale guerrilla tactics), and it was only made in 2016, I think, so it's not all that old. I also used stripper clips with my AK-74, also not that old... as dinosaurs go. And "clip" alone is not the proper nomenclature. it must be juxtaposed and used in conjunction with other scary words, thusly - "1000 round clip magazine large capacity ammo feeding device ammo-case box thingy". Just saying "clip" is not scary enough for the modern age. It's like one of those shoulder thingies that goes up. If you're too specific or make something actually identifiable, you're not being scary enough. Plus, we must use big words and long sentences like that so that people know we are experts in the field, and can be trusted to properly scare inform them of factual realities. It's for the children, you know. The last rifle I owned that used clips proper - other than the stripper clips available for nearly all modern military firearms - was an Italian Carcano in 6.5 mm from WWII. It was bolt action, rather than semi auto. Come to think of it, Kennedy was assassinated by a Carcano, one that was acting alone, all by itself, without a human to intervene, because we all know that guns kill people, people don't kill people. So, No, I was just kidding. I didn't have one of those deadly, president-killing bolt-action Carcanos. Honest! Trust me. . Surprisingly I liked the SKS accuracy and feel even though the 7.62X39 ammo kinda sucks for any shot longer than ?? 125 yards ?? if accuracy is a concern. Considering all the crap that has been talked about them, and the "cheapness" of their construction, some of those communist made weapons would fool you for accuracy. I could turn a beer can into a colander with my AK-74 at 100 yards without fail, and using just open iron sights, not even "peep" sights. If you can hit a beer can, then you can hit a man - or any part of that man you can see peeing through the foliage - and that is close enough for government work. They weren't made to be sniper rifles, so the inherent accuracy was something of a surprise. I believe my AK had about 1 MOA accuracy, kind of astonishing for an old war horse intended for "spray and pray" shooting. As I recall, the SKS stripper clips stripped directly into the rifle, because the magazine was built-in to the rifle unless it had been modified to use external magazines. With the AK and AR, the stripper clips strip into magazines, and the magazines have special "cut outs" or mounting grooves to accommodate the stripper clip loader clips. In Vietnam, there were flimsy, weak-ass bandoliers with 7 pockets on each one. The pockets had cardboard liners, and each liner could hold two 10round stripper clips, because Vietnam era AR magazines would hold only 20 rounds for the most part, although some folks experimented with jury-rigging their own personal higher capacity magazines - because some times, 20 rounds just ain't enough to extract yourself from a situation, and you'd much prefer being obnoxious for a few more shots while finding cover or getting the hell out of Dodge. In humid jungles, the flimsy bandoliers and cardboard inserts don't fare well, so you'd have to use them up and toss the empties pretty quick before they all fell apart. I used some of the Vietnam era "surplus" in other damp venues. The ammo held up, but the packaging, not so much. I don't have any more of the bandoliers, because, Like I said, they were weak and flimsy, single-use. The cardboard liners, however, are still in use, and have now been increased in size to hold 3 10 round stripper clips, because modern standard sized AR magazines hold 30 rounds. I have scads of stripper clips pre-loaded with both M193 (55 grain) and M855 (62 grain "green tip") ammo from Lake City Arsenal. Now they come pre-packed like that in 420 round ammo cans, with the loader clips included but without the bandoliers. Just open-ended cardboard "box" inserts with 30 rounds per box and 14 boxes per ammo can - two full combat loadouts of 7 magazines each per can. All of my AR magazines, from the 50 year old USMC issued aluminum mags right up through the new polymer/steel hybrid Lancer mags have the grooves for mounting the stripper clip loading clips in them. Even the (ironically made in California) Colt branded 40 round steel magazines have those grooves, as do the Bulgarian made polymer/steel hybrid 40 round magazines - those are made by the same fine folks that produced the "Circle-10" AK magazines, and are far more reliable than even the Colt 40-rounders. All of my AK-74 mags also had the mounting grooves for stripper clip loaders, from the Romanian steel magazines through the East German "bakelite" magazines to the Russian "bakelite" magazines and the Bulgarian "Circle-10" polymer magazines, all had the grooves to accept stripper clip loaders. I still have a couple of the AK stripper clip loaders, a few empty AK stripper clips, and some of the AK magazines stashed away in a box somewhere, even though the rifle itself is long, long gone. Those East German "bakelites" were all the rage for a while, and could be bought for as little as 2 or 3 dollars each, as many as you could carry off. They "normally" went for about 5 dollars each, and if anyone tried to charge you 10 dollars for one, you'd just move on to the next guy with the more reasonable prices. The market was absolutely flooded with them, and not many had the 5.45 AK's to really need them. Now, in the modern day, I've seen those same 3 dollar magazines going for as much as 80 to 160 dollars EACH, roughly 320 dollars for 4 mags and a pouch that I paid around 15 dollars for the whole kit. Talk about a "return on investment"! . RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - FCD - 08-19-2025 727Sky - You know, I've seen at least one example of an SKS which was almost shockingly accurate! And this gun gets treated like garbage. I long time ago I bought an AK variant which is the same way, almost shockingly accurate. I don't think I've ever cleaned it; I don't dare! (I'm afraid I'll screw up its accuracy by doing so). And, like you always hear people say about AK's; you could throw this thing down in a mud hole and run over it with a 5 ton truck and it won't even phase it. Say what you will about the AK, but in my humble opinion they are the most durable and reliable firearms ever developed. There are guys who slam these things together in the back alleys of Asskrackistan and Iraq, and if you ever look inside one of these shops it's just a bunch of jihadi's running around in their traditional garb not doing any one thing consistently. One minute they'll be bending sheet metal, and the next they run over to a forge and dump molten car parts, can openers and melted down refrigerators into a mold to cast a certain part out of garbage raw materials. Then they'll run over and bolt some wood stock on one of these things made from a shipping crate and old pallets. It's the craziest thing you'll ever watch! No QC, no organized process, just chaos which results in a finished product at some point (which looks like it even surprises them!!). They'll be looking at it, call a couple of their Jihadi buddies over, and say..."Welp, I guess it's done. Lets go build some more." They'll toss it in a box about 15 feet away, full of about (20) others, and go back to doing something else. It's just nuts. I think the AK I've got was made in Romania or someplace. I bought it on kind of a lark one day when I was in this gun store up north in Ft. Collins waiting on my background check to clear for a pistol I'd bought. This was when they were dirt cheap; they had them all just jammed in this 55 gallon plastic barrel. I looked a few over, picked out the one which looked the most normal and threw it down on the counter..."Oh, and I'll take one of these too!"...kind of thing. I think the barrel right next to the AK's was full of old chewed up Mosin-Nagants. I asked them where their mags were, and they had about 10,000 of 'em, and grabbed a case of ammo too. What the hell, right? I think I paid like $150 bucks for it. I ammo was some steel cased Russian ammo, dirt cheap also, like Privi or something. P.S. - One thing about AK's is, they might seem slow, but they hit hard as hell. I'd never want to get hit by one of these things!! I shot mine at this old steel plate this dude had which was all dinged up anyway, and that rifle totally fucked up that steel plate. Every time I'd hit that plate from about 100 yards away it sounded like it got hit by a .50 cal BMG round (seriously!). I could hit the same plate with my 5.56 and it sounded like you were shooting at it with a BB gun. The AK would hit that thing and it would go..."BONG-NGNGNG!"...and the plate would go flying like 5 feet away. -----------------------------------------------Different Post/Reply------------------------------------------------------------ (08-19-2025, 02:18 AM)727Sky Wrote: We lose 93 million Americans a day due to gun violence This is complete and utter BULLSHIT!! Thank you for posting this, because it's good to see what kind of BS the liberals are throwing out there (and people believe this kind of stuff too!! That's the most amazing part.) RE: Death givers as heavy as 10 boxes - HaarFager - 08-22-2025 Here's another true fact about guns. If Liberals stand in front of one like this, their life might be in jeopardy.
