I wouldn't want to embrace the loneliness out there, as isolation can do much harm.

I like isolation -- it's the "way out there" I'm not too keen on.

Is this a poetry thread?  Can I post a poem?

I'm not sure. Why not start a new poetry thread inviting poetry, this one didn't seem to ask anyone else to post their poetry. If you do, I'll join in because the poetry juices are flowing.
