Personally, I cannot definitely state that BIAD did snag a cable from the server to RN site,
but his usual clumsiness could certainly be a factor. This suggestion is based on actually
witnessing the Man-Girl doing this (below) with an extension cable during some work I
was doing.
(BIAD thinks it brings admirers, but all it does is make certain parts of his body light up)
It's only an island if you look at it from the water.
