Feb 16, 1942: The war came visibly to the Americas at 1:30 am in the calm harbor of the little Dutch island of Aruba in the Caribbean. One Nazi torpedo missed its mark & ran upon the Aruba beach. Shortly after this photo was taken it exploded, killing 4 Dutch torpedo experts.

Feb 16, 1960: The U.S. Navy nuclear-powered (two reactors) radar picket submarine USS Triton (SSRN-586) begins Operation Sandblast, setting sail from New London, Connecticut, to begin the first submerged circumnavigation of the globe under the command of Captain Edward L. Beach Jr.

The actual submerged circumnavigation occurred between 24 February and 25 April 1960, covering 26,723 nautical miles (49,491 km; 30,752 mi) in 60 days and 21 hours at the average speed of 18 knots (33 km/h; 21 mph) while crossing the Equator on four different occasions. Also, the total duration of Triton's shakedown cruise was 84 days 19 hours 8 minutes, covering 36,335.1 nautical miles (67,292.6 km; 41,813.7 mi), and Triton remained submerged for a total of 83 days 9 hours, covering 35,979.1 nautical miles (66,633.3 km; 41,404.0 mi) during her maiden voyage. The New York Times described Triton's submerged circumnavigation of the world as "a triumph of human prowess and engineering skill, a feat which the United States Navy can rank as one of its bright victories in man's ultimate conquest of the seas."

USS Triton; SSRN 586: first submerged circumnavigation, 1960

This film made by General Dynamics shows the cruise of the submarine USS Triton (SSRN-586) around the world (underwater) in 1960. Triton was one of the largest submarines of its era and equipped with twin nuclear reactors.  This color film details life aboard Triton during that epochal trip, and shows its triumphant homecoming, including a visit from President Dwight Eisenhower.

Byte Magazine, Nov 1978

Long before the Internet escaped from the lab, connected the planet and redefined what it meant to use a computer there was a brave and pioneering band of computer users who spent their time, money and sanity setting up their home computers and phone lines to welcome anyone who called. By using a modem, anyone else who knew the phone number of these computers could connect to them, leave messages, send and receive files.... and millions did.

When the Internet grew in popularity in the early 1990s, the world of the BBS faded, changed, and became a part of the present networked world.. but it just wasn't the same.

BBS: The Documentary

As the US attempts to pivot away from Europe, (to laser focus on China) one of two things may/will happen:

- Integration: The Europeans realize that they must learn to stand on their own feet and cooperate.

- Disintegration: The American pacifier is gone, and the Europeans begin to turn on each other to compete for leadership. I'm betting disintegration, and also war as they hope for unity by inflating and demonizing the Russian threat and then provoke a war. The EU is like Hotel California. You can check-in but you can never leave.

Feb 18, 1955: Operation Teapot: test shot "Wasp" is successfully detonated at the Nevada Test Site with a yield of 1.2 kilotons. Wasp is the first of fourteen shots in the Teapot series. During shot Wasp, ground forces took part in Exercise Desert Rock VI which included an armored task force Razor moving to within 900 metres of ground zero, under the still-forming mushroom cloud of death.

Millennium by John Varley is a 1983 sci-fi novel about time travelers from a dying future who kidnap people from the past to repopulate humanity on a new planet, focusing on the paradoxes and consequences of their actions, particularly through the perspectives of an air crash investigator from the 20th century and a time traveler from the 99th century. The story explores themes of survival, mortality, and the nature of time, as the travelers must snatch people who are about to die in disasters to avoid altering the timeline, leading to complex interactions and a major twist involving a god-like computer. A UFO story? Maybe. This is very much a template for the notion of future time travelers abducting people!

Bernie: In '68, a bunch of us went to cover the Olympics in Grenoble. Decided to go to the best restaurant in town. Now, the menu didn't have any prices, but we were all on expense accounts so we figured, fuck it, got drunk. Well, somehow there ended up being, I don't know, fifteen or sixteen of us at the table, and when the check came - ooooo, it was nine thousand dollars.

Alicia: Whoa.

Bernie: Yeah. [chuckles] So, now we're all starting to point fingers, we're trying to figure out who invited who. And just when it was starting to get really embarrassing, this funny-lookin' old guy at the next table calls the maitre-d over.
    [mimics writing]

Bernie: Ehhhh, he did a couple of squiggly lines on a napkin, signed his name, winked at us - that was it. The old guy was Pablo Picasso, and that napkin paid our bill.

Alicia: Did I miss the segue here, Bernie? What's the point?

Bernie: Well, the people we cover - we move in their world but it is their world. You can't live like them, Alicia. You'll never keep up. Now, if you try and make this job about the money, you'll be nothing but miserable, 'cause we don't get the money - never have, never will."

UN Experts: Flawed ‘Epstein Files’

Ghislaine Maxwell is literally part of the UN club with her Terramar project. Amir Dossal was on the board of directors for Ghislaine’s TerraMar and he was on the board of Humpty Dumpty with Jeffrey’s brother, Mark. The UN partnered with WEF/Davos men, who are loaded with Epstein collaborators.

Ghislaine was the genesis of UN SDG 14 Goal and she spoke at the UN numerous times.

The Atlantic rag as usual is part of the deception like all the other media which of course TPTB own. The Atlantic's owner, Laurene Powell Jobs (wife of late Steve Jobs) is good friends with Ghislaine Maxwell.

Epstein is alive, somewhere, and Ghislaine was swapped out with a doppelgänger when TPTB transferred her from a Florida state prison to a Texas country club. Epstein is a Pandora's Box of all possible conspiracies. He and his associates functioned in a grey area between intelligence agencies. CIA, Mossad, MI6, or FSB? All of the above? The Robert Maxwell special. The files point in every direction yet seemingly lead nowhere.

The missing cache of files and emails just happen to fall square in the time leading up to 9-11 and the immediate aftermath. Just a coincidence, assuming this guy's analysis is correct. "Pull it, and I don't mean Building 7."

As America mobilized for World War II, we unleashed a wave of military production unlike anything the world had ever seen. Nearly 200,000 artillery pieces. Nearly 300,000 aircraft, 86,000 tanks, Two million army trucks. America once built a B-24 bomber every 63 minutes. Today, it takes a decade to deliver new weapons. What happened to the arsenal of democracy?

During WWII we launched a new Gato-class submarine on-average every 15 days, while concurrently building 120 Balao-class submarines. Currently we're launching about 1.3 submarines a year. The Pentagon needs to drastically speed up the design and production of new military platforms. Here's how DC is mucking it all up:

Quote:Sir Keir Starmer has explained he hired an agency to spy on journalists and fabricate stories about them because it is the only way to keep children safe online.

The prime minister has taken many steps to keep children safe, such as making you scan your face to watch porn, upload your passport to use social media, and scan your entire email account to watch a movie. The fact that your data can be collected so we know what you are doing at all times is beside the point. The point is these measures have saved zero children. Zero! If you are opposed to these measures, you clearly hate children, unlike the politicians who were tied to Epstein, such as the lovely people at Labour Together.

In one of his most impressive child-saving measures to date, Starmer has explained that he hired a PR Firm called APCO Worldwide back in 2023. Their job was to spy on journalists who had been delving into the finances of Labour Together.

These pesky journalists had noticed Labour Together’s dark money and decided to report on it. This increased the risk that children would realise their government is a bunch of cunts.

Thanks to TikTok, kids are too politically aware, and while TikTok has been dealt with, it’s nowhere enough. We would much rather go back to the days when we whined that young people weren’t interested in politics. Now you understand why we must make every do-gooder out there shut the fuck up!

Starmer decided he needed to know everything about the rogue journalists that were worryingly interested in the truth. APCO put together a dossier on their backgrounds, family lives, and religious beliefs, presumably to see if it could find any blackmail material.

I can only assume APCO could not find any blackmail material because the journalists had never visited Epstein Island or invited Ukrainian rent boys around for a sleepover or anything like that. Therefore, APCO made up a story that the journalists had been working with Russia to destabilise the British state and bring down the royal family! Sadly, the smear didn’t work because it had zero evidence and everyone knows the royal family is doing a brilliant job of bringing itself down.

Gone are the good ol’ days of Corbyn when we could scream that someone is an antisemite until half the public believes it’s true. These days everyone is seeing through that shit.

The know-it-all public refused to believe APCO’s Russia smear and this has left our children in great peril. Without smears to confuse them, they will continue to notice that we do genocides and traffic kids to rape islands. Things are so out of control that Starmer was forced to sack the greatest Little St James ambassador we’ve ever had — Peter Mandelson.

There is only one solution to this problem and that is the panopticon that Shabana Mahmoud was gushing about to Tony Blair. Mahmoud is one of the Labour Together alumni and presumably eager to protect the Epstein class. She wants the state to have eyes everywhere and digital ID is the best way to achieve that.

While we have been struggling to get digital ID through the front door. We are are pushing it through the backdoor by extending age verification. What else would you want the government to do? Address the cost of living?

Excitingly, Age verification will soon be extended to your last bastion of online privacy: VPNs! You probably didn’t know most VPNs are owned by Israel. When the new rules are pushed through, not only will Shabana know everything you post online, Netanyahu will too! This means no more whining about genocide or paedophilia without getting a friendly message to your inbox, reminding you that we know your embarrassing secrets and are not afraid to use them against you.

If this unsettles you, just blame those nosey journalists who decided to tell the truth. If they’d been good journalists like me, none of this would be happening, would it?

I guess Trump will now attempt to seize Diego Garcia.

This is the type of information warfare that was reserved for American adversaries (distributing VPNs to countries with internet censorship laws using OTF funding). Now they're just going to beam this online portal into Europe.

Exclusive: US plans online portal to bypass content bans in Europe and elsewhere

The OTF was created by the USAGM (under the umbrella of Radio Free Asia) after congress appropriated tens of millions for "internet freedom" initiatives using the Snowden's leaks as the pretext for this expansion. OTF funded Tor, Signal, Globaleaks, Cryptocat and many MANY VPN's.

Privacy activism as we know it has mostly just been used as a front for undermining the sovereignty of foreign adversaries and for the US to maintain the technological advantage in the censorship arms race.

After seeing the AI Meta story today, I suspect it's connected to the Pentagon's Sentient World Simulation. The Pentagon's Sentient World Simulation mines online activity and phone records to psychoanalyze people, and create digital replicas, letting the military predict behavior. Once deployed, the tech reaches everyday apps, expanding the global surveillance feeding the simulation. SWS uses that information to simulate and predict how you would behave under certain social conditions, such as civil unrest, economic shocks or environmental catastrophe. Just imagine the amount of data they collected during Covid.

But it goes much deeper. The SWS was developed with military money at Purdue University. It creates a digital mirror-image of the real world, including you and me: our streets, towns and even the weather. In order to anticipate how we would react in real life, programmers do things to the digital us: cut our power supplies, simulate weather disasters, crash the economy, epidemic/plandemic, etc. This is useful for counterinsurgency planning and market prediction such as with BlackRock's "Aladdin" supercomputer.

Work print of a 1988 news documentary titled "Something Foolish With a Pistol" on the 1958 Sculthorpe nuclear weapons incident in the UK. This documentary includes the only known filmed interview of former Master Sergeant Leander V. Cunningham [1917-1991], the person at the center of the incident. Others interviewed are: Former USAF Police sergeant John R. Stone; former USAF sergeant Greg Montilla and his wife, Ivy Montilla; Col. James Ryan, USAF; David Thurlow, reporter, Times of London; Lord George Ward of Witley, Former Secretary of State for Air under Harold Macmillan from 1957 to 1960.

The back story is on October 30, 1958, at RAF Sculthorpe, ~3 miles west of Fakenham, England, US Air Force atomic bomb technician Master Sgt. Leander V. Cunningham, 41, suffered a mental breakdown, locked himself in the bomb maintenance building, and threatened to detonate a Mark-5 bomb by shooting it with his .45 pistol.

After an 8-hour standoff, during which Cunningham reportedly climbed into the building's rafters, he was talked down and surrendered peacefully. After some medical care and evaluation, the senior technician was sent home to the United States.

Pre-Dr. Strangelove times...

The USAF tried to hush up the incident, but word quickly leaked out from people who worked at the base and had seen or heard about it. Press coverage, not always accurate, increased public interest. On November 5, Harold Davies, a member of Parliament from Staffordshire, inquired about the “beserk American airman” and nuclear weapons safety. Secretary for Air George Ward replied, “It is impossible for one individual to set off a nuclear explosion ... even assuming that he could get into the building, which I think would have been impossible.”

Quote:You may recall that last year, I wrote an entire book about modern society's descent into hell. It rang a bell with a lot of people, who see a deterioration of the world that seems more or less inevitable now. I see more and more people reacting to our current state of being with something close to despair: some of their fears are, I think, greatly exaggerated or misplaced, but others seem to hit a little too close to home for comfort.

Perhaps you've wondered, during these times, what the end will be like, and if you'll be around to experience it. The thought raises a great many questions, both theological and philosophical. But let's face it: we're here to talk about television, and for our purposes, the major question is this: how will television cover the end times?

When Ted Turner started CNN, way back in 1980, it was with the promise that the network "would stay on until the end of the world." Now, based on the network's increasingly dwindling viewership, you might wonder if the end of the world is a little closer than you'd like to think; personally, I think it's less an indication of an approaching doomsday and more an issue of the network's mismanagement. It seems to me as if CNN lost its way some time ago, and given the uncertainties about its future ownership, it's not wrong to wonder if CNN, as we knew it, remains a viable concern.

Regardless of how one might feel about it, you can't help but note the irony of it all, especially when considering the video below: the infamous, oft-rumored and apparently confirmed, “Doomsday Video” that Turner had prepared for broadcast at the end of the world.

You may well have seen the video since it first surfaced about a decade ago. The premise is just bizarre—it sounds like something you’d see on The Simpsons, doesn’t it? In fact, it's more than a little unsettling to watch. (Having the band play "Nearer My God to Thee" is a nice touch, though.) It’s also somewhat problematic theologically, whatever your beliefs. My own thought is that the Second Coming probably won't need breaking news to announce it. But who knows? It’s not as if there's any precedent to go by.

Now, CNN is not the only network to have thought about the potential of this story; the late Roger Ailes once mentioned that Fox would be there to provide live coverage when the end comes ("God to World: It’s OVER"), and I suspect MSNow, or whatever the hell it's called nowadays, would be of the same mind ("World to End: Women, minorities affected the most"). No word if they have a similar video locked away in a secret vault.

Whatever—but if CNN still plans to air this tape when the world ends, it would first behoove them to make sure that the network doesn’t end before the world does.

So the US alphabet agencies knew that Ukraine would destroy Nord Stream pipeline 3 months before the attack happened? Well, of course they did. Here we have a textbook example of what you might call drip-feed disclosure or strategic normalisation: a communication strategy where information pertaining to a particularly controversial truth — in this case the fact that the US blew up Nord Stream is released gradually rather than all at once.

Instead of presenting the full reality immediately (which might provoke shock, resistance or backlash), details are introduced in small, manageable increments. Each new piece slightly adjusts expectations, reduces surprise and allows audiences to adapt psychologically and emotionally.

Over time, what might initially have seemed unacceptable or radical becomes familiar and therefore more socially or politically tolerable. The process relies on habituation: repeated exposure lowers resistance.

In this case, the narrative has gone through the following adjustments:

– "Russia did it"

– "Russia probably didn’t do it but we don’t know who did it."

– "Let’s all forget about the bombing, it’s not a big deal anyway."

– "BREAKING: it looks like a bunch of drunken Ukrainian divers gone rogue did it, unbeknownst to everyone."

– "Ok, it wasn’t just a bunch of Ukrainian drunkards, but an operation carried out by rogue elements of the Ukrainian state, unapproved by the government, of which US-Western intelligence agencies were unaware."

– "By the way, what those rogue Ukrainians did was a great act of heroism and Europeans should be thankful to them."

– Ok, the Zelensky regime and US-Western intelligence agencies knew about it — but tried to stop it:: this is where we are now.

We’re getting closer and closer to the final admission: "Fine, it was a CIA operation carried out by US operatives with foreknowledge by several NATO governments. What are you gonna do about it?"

The question is: will anyone care at that point?

Elon has some Ruskie competition...Russian state media on the development of "Argus" stratospheric drone that "has the potential to provide Russian troops and other users with high-speed internet similar to the Starlink system. Argus will also be capable of jamming enemy communications and monitoring the surface in real time. It will operate at altitudes of 15 to 24 km, inaccessible to light air defense systems. Testing will begin with a scaled-down model, and if successful, a full-scale version with a 40-meter wingspan will be assembled."

Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor is the first senior royal in modern history to be arrested — the last being nearly 400 years ago: King Charles I, who was arrested in 1647 during the English Civil War, and later executed, in 1649.

Remember this bloody horse photo:

"Seven Household Cavalry horses, including one soaked with blood, ran loose in central London after throwing their military riders." The Household Cavalry is the King's official bodyguard.

That bloody symbolism was exactly 666 days before the police arrived in 6 unmarked vehicles to arrest Andrew on his 66th birthday. That's quite a coincidence!

As Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg puts it, the psychological foundation of the British monarchy lies in its "magic"; the connection between the crown and God, a connection which once made commoners seek out the sovereign's touch as something sacramental and not as  in the Epstein case, something sinister. Long had this been forgotten. Now after years of secularism, multiculturalism, licentiousness and even flirtation with Islam the monarchy has gradually torn down that arch till they finally  realized its not there.

Will the Monarchy survive?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnjNUSaNJMQ

There have been 63 monarchs of England and Britain spread over a period of approximately 1200 years. The number of scandals that have occurred in that period is probably beyond counting so the monarchy will probably survive minus some bruising. However, we're in the Trump era so any shocking thing is possible.

The Manifesto of Futurism (Italian: Manifesto del Futurismo) written by the Italian poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, published in the newspaper Le Figaro on Feb 20, 1909. In it, Marinetti expresses an artistic philosophy called Futurism, which rejected the past and celebrated speed, machinery, violence, youth, and industry. The manifesto also advocated for the modernization and cultural rejuvenation of Italy. He wanted to goad. To incite. To rouse Italians. To wake them up. He called himself "The caffeine of Europe."

PKD knew too much. He operated on a plane above everyone else.

It's about his clairvoyant beef with author/screenwriter Harlan Ellison. PKD had a feud stemming from Ellison's 1967 claim in "Dangerous Visions" that PKD wrote "The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch" under LSD influence. PKD denied this, insisting he only tried LSD twice later in life and that his visionary ideas came from genuine clairvoyant experiences (like his 1974 "2-3-74" revelations). This is fictionalized in "Radio Free Albemuth," where rumors lead to the protagonist's persecution. PKD saw it as damaging his reputation.

Radio Free Albemuth by Philip K. Dick is a dystopian sci-fi novel set in an alternate America under tyrannical President Ferris F. Fremont, who rose to power via anti-communist paranoia.

It follows record executive Nicholas Brady, who receives visions from a godlike entity called VALIS, urging resistance against the regime. His friend, sci-fi writer Philip (a stand-in for Dick), gets involved in the underground fight. Themes include authoritarianism, Gnosticism, and hidden truths in a surveillance state. (Published posthumously in 1985.)

What billionaire has not been conned by and given power of attorney over billions and a personal finance manager for 20 years to a college dropout from Coney Island?

Happens all the time. Totally believable.

On second thought, How many were conned by Bernie Madoff? JP Morgan and many others knew Madoff was a bad seed, but they were profiting off it. You can literally go back every decade of this country and find this happening. What billionaire has a guy with no degree as an accountant/bookkeeper?

"And now, perhaps, it is time to reintroduce Leslie Wexner's dybbuk, the demon that always wakes up in the morning with Wexner and tweaks and pulls at him."
—New York Magazine, 1985

New York Magazine, 1985 (PDF)

Note that Wexner made Epstein his personal finance manager in 1987 and remained so till 2007. Epstein met Ghislaine Maxwell around the same time.

Even more odd, when the word Covid is reversed, it becomes Divoc, a word that is almost phonetically identical to Dybbuk. In Jewish folklore, a Dybbuk Box is a magical cabinet that contains an evil spirit. The word dybbuk means "possessed by". So, Covid-19 could also mean "possessed by AI".

Quote:DIVOC transcribed as ‫ק‬ ‫ו‬ ‫ב‬ ‫י‬ ‫ד‬ in Hebrew and it actually means something – it means possession by an evil spirit. (The word is transcribed into English as dybbuk, b and v being represented through the same Hebrew character, Bet – ‫)ב‬. To better understand what a dybbuk is we will refer to no less of an authority as professor Yoram Bilu, professor of sociology and anthropology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and recipient of the prestigious Israel Award in 2013. According to Bilu:

“The term dybbuk (dibbuq) was used in Jewish mystical circles to designate a spirit of a dead person, a notorious sinner in his lifetime, that took temporary possession of a human being (…) dybbuk possession was always conceived as an affliction or an illness and the possessing agent a foreign, dangerous intruder that had to be expelled. (…) The exorcist was always a revered rabbi who confronted the spirit with various religiously informed measures used in a fixed, graded order.”

Quoting renowned kabbalist Gershom Sholem’s works, Bilu points out that “dybbuks, demons or evil souls possessed some unhappy or mentally sick creature”. Dybbuks seem to target mostly women and children and “emotional intensification or arousal” are prerequisites for such demonic possession. Bilu concludes:

“Dybbuk possession left the victim as a passive object, temporarily bereft of self-awareness and without self-control vis-à-vis two external authorities: the possessing spirit who deprived the possessed of her individual identity and the rabbi-exorcist who compelled the spirit to leave”

The USS Gerald R. Ford has just entered the Mediterranean Sea and the final pieces are in place for an attack on Iran. There will not be a "limited strike" as the objective is to regime change, balkanise and destroy Iran.

When you look at the non-negotiable terms Trump wants in the Iran deal, it's clear that a "limited strike" won't compel Iran to subjugate itself to Israel and the United States.

Harper's Magazine March issue:

Quote:Slodov’s ambitions, however, were far bigger than starting a company. At the beginning of 2024, Slodov published a tract online titled “A Techno-Industrialist Manifesto.” “We need to make manufacturing better, cheaper, and faster through technology,” he wrote. “It should be as easy to make physical things as it is to make software. The end.” The main premise of “techno-industrialism” was that Silicon Valley might help solve the riddle that had stumped policymakers for more than forty years: how to reverse the tide of deindustrialization in a globalized economy in which companies can find cheaper labor abroad than they can in Detroit, Youngstown, or Peoria. “Techno-industrialists are finding their moment,” wrote Slodov. “The next wave of trillion-dollar companies in the coming decades will be in hard tech and/or manufacturing adjacent.” He called on “the most talented people in tech” to join the movement. “Go bang your head against the wall trying to figure out unsolved, insane, real-world problems.”

Soon, an ad hoc group—including Slodov’s college friend Austin Bishop; Chris Power, the CEO of Hadrian, a startup whose factories use AI software to automate weapons-parts production; and Julius Krein, editor of the conservative journal American Affairs—came together to form what they called the “vanguard of America’s techno-industrialist revival” and founded a nonprofit called the New American Industrial Alliance. That same year, a like-minded group of venture capitalists and technologists started an investment group, the New Industrial Corporation, with the goal of “build[ing] infrastructure for the most promising New Industrial companies.” They were tired of foreign powers—mainly China and Russia—“stealing” all the United States’ intellectual property; tired of the slow decline of the country’s defense-industrial base, which left it unable to effectively build ships or drones; tired of America losing its competitive edge; tired of the disappearance of manual-labor jobs and the decimation of local economies; and tired of politicians making empty promises to fix the problem.

Every American president blames the woes of deindustrialization on the previous administration and vows to be the one to stanch the bleeding. The specific framing of this issue changes over time, but the focus on industrial flight remains a point of bipartisan obsession. “Folks, where is it written that America can’t once again be the manufacturing capital of the world?” Joe Biden mused in 2023 while on a factory tour in Minneapolis. His 2022 Inflation Reduction Act had invested hundreds of billions of dollars in domestic clean-energy companies that produced electric vehicles, semiconductors, and batteries. When Trump assumed office for the second time, many of Biden’s policies that might actually have resulted in the creation of a meaningful number of manufacturing jobs were abandoned or scaled back, even as Trump promised a “manufacturing renaissance.” Instead, he opted to punish America’s trading partners with a blitzkrieg of tariffs.

“Jobs and factories will come roaring back into our country, and you see it happening already,” he declared last April. That same month, the number of manufacturing jobs in America declined by about one thousand. And despite the millions of manufacturing jobs that will soon open up as baby boomers retire, few Americans are willing or able to perform the work. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, some four hundred thousand manufacturing jobs are currently unfilled. The jobs and factories have yet to come “roaring back.”

The techno-industrialists have a different plan to save America. As they see it, what we need is advanced manufacturing. For too long, they say, tech engineers have been fooling around with intangible things: software, blockchain, crypto, AI. Meanwhile, China, the world’s manufacturing powerhouse, is churning out roughly eighty-five thousand cars a day; the United States can scarcely produce a third of that number. Silicon Valley is bloated with startups, but too few of their products are concrete. The techno-industrialists believe that America needs to apply modern computing capabilities to industrial production. They believe that technology has drifted too far into the invisible realm of bits or into the digital cloud. They are tired of the coastal ethos of “tech for tech’s sake.” And they’ve attracted some very powerful backers in the newly allied worlds of tech and American politics, among them the vice president and the secretary of defense. “The West once held its own destiny in a firm grip,” reads the New Industrial Corporation’s mission statement. “We can all feel it. A supercycle is groaning to a halt. . . . The known world order is becoming disordered. The ‘end of history’ is ending.”

Two years ago, in June 2024, a group of techno-industrialist leaders organized a conference in Detroit that they called Reindustrialize. It was low-profile, with around seven hundred attendees, and held in a former book depository. When I heard from Slodov that there would be a second iteration this past July, dubbed Reindustrialize 2.0, I decided to attend. Like Slodov, I grew up in the Midwest and spent my youth wondering what had happened to postindustrial towns like Gary or Milwaukee, where the American dream had given way to bail-bond stores and foreclosure notices. The techno-industrialists, it seemed, were at the front lines, offering a concrete vision of a vibrant industrial base that would give rise to a Jetsonian future with automated machines and flying cars. At the same time, there were a number of things about the movement that hinted at something more complicated. For one, while it was easy to see how shiny new hardware might lead to increased productivity, it was harder to imagine how technology that leaned so heavily on automation would do anything to improve the plight of the Midwest’s working class. In addition, the movement’s roster of high-profile corporate partners such as Palantir, Lockheed Martin, and Honeywell suggested that “reindustrialization,” just like the midcentury manufacturing boom it was constantly calling back to, would depend principally on its connection with one sector of the economy: the defense industry.

......

Here was the factory of the future. The software cut in half the time it took to make molds, which reduced the number of workers needed, at least according to Slodov, by half. “Ultimately, we need to grow our industrial base so much so there isn’t going to be any sort of job reduction, even if you make a human mold twenty times more efficient,” Young explained. “We need to increase it by so much that there’s not going to be any AI taking jobs. It’ll be creating jobs.” We continued walking through the factory. “I mean, this might be a loaded question,” he said, “but would you rather have a million jobs back, paying ten dollars an hour, or two hundred thousand jobs back, making two hundred grand a year?”

More than a loaded question, it was a hypothetical one. Atomic had yet to show that it could sustain itself as a business: it had closed its first round of seed funding in 2023 and was in the process of raising more VC money. And I struggled to understand how a factory that was supposed to bring jobs and life back to America could do so when it employed so few people. But after two days at Reindustrialize 2.0, Young’s optimism was hardly a surprise to me, nor did it strike me as inauthentic. On the way out, we passed a young man dressed in black, tending carefully to a million-dollar 3D printer. Every so often, he’d press a button on a screen that would direct a high-powered laser to weld powdered metal together, creating a mold component that Atomic software had designed. He motioned for me to peer into a circular glass window where a flash of aquatic colors vibrated in conic patterns. Little lasers danced beneath the light. “It’s kind of mesmerizing,” he said, as we stared, transfixed, into the portal.

Neros was founded in 2023 with a mission to build the West’s drone industrial base.

In 2025, Neros became the highest-output American drone manufacturer within a 15,000-square-foot facility in El Segundo. But faced with the reality of modern warfare as seen in Ukraine, we were still just a drop in the bucket.

In 2026, we’re scaling our productive capacity by 100x.

Today, Neros is proud to announce our expansion into Millennium One, a 250,000-square-foot flagship facility in Torrance, CA. This factory is the cornerstone of Project Millennium, our initiative to build a drone industrial base that is truly competitive with China. We will build world-class systems, at a scale in the millions, and at internationally competitive cost right here on domestic soil.

Millennium One is a decisive step towards bridging the critical production gap to our adversaries. Beyond final assembly, we are also verticalizing components across the entire drone value chain, onshoring high-risk subsystems to ensure our domestic manufacturing capabilities are insulated from external supply shocks. Neros will provide the ultimate deterrent and the asymmetric advantage the West requires. We cannot afford to fail.

The Hollow Men

American capitalism is rotting from the head down. We have replaced the "Owner-Operator"—the risk-taker-with a new, parasitic class of corporate bureaucrat: The Risk-Free Insider.

By "Insider," I am not referring to a specific title. I am referring to the entire administrative state that has captured the modern corporation. This includes the Directors who exist solely to collect fees, the Executives who exist solely to collect bonuses, and the Managers who exist solely to hire consultants.

These are the hollow men of the boardroom. They are masters of PowerPoint. They wear the right suits. They say the right buzzwords about "governance" and "ESG." But they are mercenaries fighting a war with someone else’s ammunition.

In a functioning economy, authority is tied to liability. If you make a bad decision, you lose your own money. That fear of loss is the only thing that keeps a business honest. It forces you to cut waste, obsess over the customer, and stay late to fix what is broken.

Today, we have severed that link.

We have rigged the game so that heads, the Insider wins; tails, the shareholder loses.

If the stock goes up, the Insider collects a massive performance bonus. If the stock crashes due to their own incompetence, they are fired with a "Golden Parachute" worth tens of millions. They are gambling with the house’s money, and they never leave the table poorer than they arrived.

This looting starts in the boardroom.

We have normalized a "Country Club" culture where directors are selected based on social profiling rather than their ability to build a business. The modern board member is often a professional tourist—paid an average of $350,000 a year.

Let’s be brutally honest about what that number represents. The average director is paid nearly five times the GDP per capita of the United States. They earn more for attending four quarterly lunches than the vast majority of Americans earn in five years of hard labor.

And for what?

Most of these directors are "over-boarded," sitting on three or four boards simultaneously. They treat directorships as a gig economy for the elite. They fly in, rubber-stamp a compensation package they didn't read, and fly out. They collect checks from companies they do not understand, do not use, and certainly do not love.

They are not there to ask hard questions. They are there to be collegial. They are there to protect the other Insiders.

And what happens when these boards hire executives who also have no personal capital at risk?

We get the Delegation Economy.

When a Risk-Free Insider faces a crisis—bloated expenses, a broken supply chain, or a stale product—they do not roll up their sleeves. They hire a consultant. They pay a strategy firm millions of shareholder dollars to produce a 100-page deck telling them what they already know.

This is not management. It is intellectual money laundering.

They use shareholder capital to buy an insurance policy for their own careers. If the plan fails, they can blame the consultants. They delegate the work because they are terrified of the responsibility. They would rather preside over a slow, comfortable decline than risk a bold mistake.

While American Insiders are busy optimizing their severance packages, our global competitors are optimizing their products. They are not slowed down by bureaucracy. They are not waiting for a slide deck. They are outworking us.

If we continue to fill our C-suites with administrators instead of operators, we will lose our edge. We will see iconic American franchises hollowed out by fees, managed for the benefit of the Insiders, while the true owners—the shareholders—are left holding the bag.

The time for polite governance is over.

If we want to save the American economy from mediocrity, we must demand a return to the "Owner’s Mentality." We need leaders who treat shareholder capital with the same reverence they treat their own savings. The era of the Risk-Free Insider must end.

SAM ALTMAN: "People talk about how much energy it takes to train an AI model … But it also takes a lot of energy to train a human. It takes like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart."

Nothing at all to worry about here...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IdyOXydDmc

He knows he needs to use absurd comparisons now to convince people of an ineffiecient model. Tech-bro nutcase. These types see no difference between humans and objects.

Seeing how the powers of the world (including America and it's "adversaries") worked in lockstep during Covid made me realize we're not moving towards a "multipolar" world order in the way I'd imagined but into a world where multiple global powers work in unison against the global proletariat.

These entities will, of course, continue to have differences and grievances in the same way mafia crime bosses might and there will be struggles for position on the top of the ladder but on a macro scale they're all in on the game and we're not.

None of these "leaders" are really "nationalist" anymore they all have bigger motivations and every time I see something happen like Assad getting whisked off to Moscow or Maduro get "kidnapped" I become more confident in my suspicions that there are no "good guys".

The 14-month long voyage was a grand pageant of American sea power. The squadrons were manned by 14,000 sailors. They covered some 45,000 miles and made twenty port calls on six continents.

The composition of the Fleet is best remembered for the 16 battleships with white hulls that circumnavigated the globe. They were divided into two squadrons of two divisions in each squadron and led by 4 admirals. They were all named after states except one, USS Kearsarge. The represented the bulk of the Atlantic Fleet.

February 22, 1947: The Tom and Jerry cartoon Cat Fishin', is released to theaters. It is the 27th Tom and Jerry short directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, produced by Fred Quimby and animated by Kenneth Muse, Ed Barge, Michael Lah with uncredited animation by Pete Burness and Ray Patterson. Oddly, no catfishes appear in the cartoon.

If post-Putin leaders follow Putin's plan they are going to pivot to the east, not west.
The kleptocratic system was essentially baked in during the chaotic privatizations of the 1990s — Putin inherited a structure already designed to funnel wealth abroad. If anything, his consolidation of power actually redirected some of it toward the state rather than purely private hands, which is arguably why so many oligarchs ended up exiled, imprisoned, or dead.

Feb 22, 1921: Persian coup d'état, known in Iran as 3 Esfand 1299 coup d'état, refers to several major events in Qajar Persia in 1921, which eventually led to the deposition of the Qajar dynasty and the establishment of the Pahlavi dynasty as the ruling house of Iran in 1925. Reza Khan was finally declared Shah, taking the surname Pahlavi and thus founding the Pahlavi dynasty in 1925.

The Pahlavis ruled in Iran until the 1979 Iranian Revolution, when the government was toppled and replaced with that of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini currently ruling for 47 years. Trump 47 may end that right soon or maybe not.

Feb 25, 1956: In his speech On the Cult of Personality and Its Consequences, Nikita Khrushchev, leader of the Soviet Union, denounces Stalin. Khrushchev charged Stalin with having fostered a leadership cult of personality despite ostensibly maintaining support for the ideals of communism. The speech is central to the period of liberalization known as the "Khrushchev Thaw" in the Soviet bloc and to the process of de-Stalinization.

The speech produced shocking effects in its day. Reports state that some listeners suffered heart attacks and that the speech even inspired suicides, due to the shock of all of Khrushchev's criticisms and condemnations of the government and of the previously revered figure of Stalin.

The document, titled 'Special Research for Artichoke', was originally declassified in 1982 and added to the CIA's reading room last year but has recently been picked up on social media and now boosted into orbit by Alex Jones as people begin to realize what it outlines. Across its seven pages it indicates a program that would develop chemicals for the purpose of altering human behavior, which would then potentially be used in large scale operations across entire populations.

These drugs had both immediate effects and long-term consequences, including things like truth serums that could even be applied within food, cigarettes, and even otherwise innocuous medical treatments such as vaccinations and injections, to manipulate individuals without their awareness.

Project Artichoke explored additional methods beyond drugs, including hypnosis, sensory deprivation, gases, aerosols, and oxygen deficiencies, often tested on vulnerable groups like prisoners, military personnel, and psychiatric patients without consent. It served as a direct precursor to the more expansive MKUltra program starting in 1953, which broadened similar mind-altering experiments, many involving hallucinogens like LSD on unwitting subjects.

The REAL agenda behind the release of "secret files?" It's death by a thousand declassifications, and "truth" has nothing to do with it. Fresh off the Epstein files and Donald Trump’s announcement of the Pentagon releasing the UFO files, "leaked" CIA files are revealing “chilling blueprint to manipulate Americans’ minds through covert drugging with vaccines”, according to the Daily Mail.

The Files lady of the Oversight Committee claims that MK Ultra is next:

They’re gonna keep releasing "the truth" for a while, they’re gonna tell you about JFK and UFOs and MKUltra and the moon landing and 9/11 and on and on.

Operation Nightingale. Operation Paperclip. Operation Mockingbird.

The US has no shortage of skeletons in its closet, after all, so there’s a lot of truth to tell.

Or rather "truth", because it won’t be the real truth. It will be processed chunks of partial truth, designed to serve two functions:

1. Make the MAGA crowd believe their chosen side really is cleaning house.
2. Air the carefully curated dirty laundry of the US Empire on the world stage, thus discrediting and degrading the last of the nation-based empires.

The global power structure is not under threat from these "revelations", and indeed will use them to mask a metamorphosis. Molting and reskinning.

It’s like corporate insurance fraud, almost. A multinational corporation moving its headquarters, then burning the building down behind it.

The expensive furniture will be removed, the data uploaded to the cloud, the real truth shredded, desk drawers emptied. Everybody important gets a new office in the even grander building down the street, and then joins the crowd cheering as the flames wick up the sides of the old façade.

Black smoke billows out of the windows and, eventually, the hollowed-out shell collapses in on itself and the mob cheer the death of the monster. By the end, every vital part of the evil machinery will have been shifted over to our shiny new Global Government, and set about decrying the evils of the old world order.

February 26, 1922: An invention that will revolutionize the world! This is the claim of a young, almost unknown Italian scientist, Professor L. V. Rota, who claims to have discovered the secret of telluric currents.

The work of Luigi Giovani Valerio Rota (1886-1951)

Feb 26, 1926: Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five record "Heebie Jeebies," the song that will make him a star. At some point during the Okeh Records session in Chicago, the 24-year-old bandleader drops his sheet with the lyrics, and he improvises with scat singing

Scat with its free-flowing, nonsense syllables is an established feature of live jazz but hasn’t been heard in the more orderly world of recorded music. The Okeh “race record” producers must like what they hear, as they decide to release the first take of “Heebie Jeebies.”

Armstrong and the Hot Five follow up their recorded version with a series of smash club performances in Chicago marked by Armstrong’s scatting and eccentric cornet riffs. In late 1926 Okeh issues another “Heebie Jeebies” record, this one aimed squarely at a white audience. Boyd Atkins is credited as composer, and the sheet music includes a photo of white bandleader Paul Ash. A biographer notes: “Armstrong’s name was nowhere to be found, even though the printed music included a transcription of his ‘skat chorus.’”

Not just a song, a Heebie Jeebies dance of late 1926 becomes the successor to the Charleston as the hottest thing for swinging youth. Armstrong will rise to national fame in both Black and white America, even if among the latter, his “Heebie Jeebies” record remains unknown. As to the phrase “heebie jeebies” itself, it predates the jazz version by a few years. The first use of the expression comes from an Oct. 26, 1923, panel from Billy DeBeck’s comic strip “Barney Google,” as the title character bemoans a bad investment.

Heebie Jeebies: The 1920s Dance Craze That Helped Launch Louis Armstrong

Louis Armstrong (1901–1971), nicknamed Satchmo or Pops, was an American trumpeter, composer, singer and occasional actor who was one of the most influential figures in jazz and in all of American popular music. His career spanned five decades, from the 1920s to the 1960s, and different eras in jazz.

"Yellow Kid" Weil: The Autobiography of America's Master Swindler as told to W.T. Brannon (1948)  PDF of book  | Wiki

Joseph "Yellow Kid" Weil, a legendary early 20th-century con man, is frequently cited in Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power as a master practitioner of deception, psychological manipulation, and exploiting human greed. He exemplifies laws regarding the use of mirrors, scams, and creating false realities to gain control

Law 44: The Mirror Effect: Weil is featured for his ability to mirror reality to deceive his targets, such as setting up a completely fake, elaborate bank to trick victims.

Modus Operandi: Weil’s career spanned over 50 years, where he, like a "generous philanthropic soul," exploited the greed and gullibility of his victims.

Application of Deception: He is used alongside historical figures like Machiavelli and Sun-tzu to illustrate the practical application of amoral, strategic, and often ruthless tactics to gain power.
