Many of the authorities in Cambodia were once Pol Pot's good little soldiers. I was flying in and out of Cambodia up until it finally fell and watched a hopeless situation become more than dire..
Since Vietnam defeated Pol Pot's army the Chinese moved in and bribed or bought their way into the Cambodian society. Americans had washed their hands of anything in S.E. Asia as the Vietnam war had left a bad taste. Well the current situation is very telling on just how deprived these crime syndicates .
