From what I've read in this thread, I'm more inclined to thing Reform is the "controlled opposition", and that it is now being threatened by Restore, so NOT controlled opposition, but rather actual opposition.
What Restore needs to watch for now, I think, is infiltrations from Labour AND Reform which might present the danger of pulling the new party leftward and making IT the new "controlled opposition" as reform fades away, being no longer necessary in that event.
You always have to guard the back door, as real danger rarely ever presents from the front. Bastards always sneak up from behind, from within the shadows.
