Who cares what some military commander(s) think about or say? They aren't paid to think, only follow commands. If they say anything outside of doing their duty and following commands that come down the ladder, then that is candid and personal. Besides, it could be true, although that would surprise the hell out of me. A lot has to happen before the vengeful Lord comes back to Earth. I think of the rebuilding of the temple as the final 10-second countdown (so to speak), but a lot of shit has to hit the fan first.
