I was a man once upon a time. Now I'm just a bent, used up, grouchy old fart with a bad attitude.
I cried once, too. It was way over-rated. Didn't solve anything, just left my eyes itchy, and that didn't help, either.
My dog was caught in a trap once. I had to shoot him. The pain was making him too grouchy to get him out without it.
Maybe I should have cried twice then, but since the first time didn't do anything, I didn't see any point in giving it a second go.
My Dear Old Dad got caught in his own trap once. Both thumbs in the same trap, so he couldn't get out by himself. Since crying never helped, I decided to laugh at him instead.
Boy, was THAT a mistake!

“Trouble rather the tiger in his lair than the sage among his books. For to you kingdoms and their armies are things mighty and enduring, but to him they are but toys of the moment, to be overturned with the flick of a finger.”
