I’ve been following the behind the scenes drama for a good while, so none of this has really come out of left field for me. It also ended up being part of what pushed me to make my own forum too back in early February. Mine is mostly just to preserve all my posts, because at this point these disappearing forums are starting to feel like digital Atlantis lol.
Still, I am glad to see new ones popping up. People may be getting scattered to the four winds a bit, but at least the conversations are still finding a place to live. That is better than watching years of posts vanish into the void every time a site decides to spontaneously combust.
Wishing all the new places good luck, and hopefully most of them stick around longer than a carton of milk left out in the sun.
